Yomiuriland Map: Gates, Ride Areas and Gondola Routes

Yomiuriland spreads its rides across named areas and several arrival points. Choose the gate that matches your transport first, then use Bandit, the central ride area and Goodjoba!! as visual anchors while the official map handles the exact path.

Yomiuriland layout at a glance

Start with the arrival point. The map shows Sky Gate, East Gate and Aurora Gate as different approaches, so a station or parking decision should be made before choosing a ride circuit.

Use a named area rather than a distant ride structure as the first meeting reference. Bandit, the family area and Goodjoba!! give groups clear places to regroup, while the map confirms the queue entrance and nearby services.

  1. Choose an arrival gateMatch your train, bus, gondola or driving approach to the gate shown on the official map.
  2. Pick a priority areaChoose Bandit, Family Area or Goodjoba!! before filling in smaller rides.
  3. Add services and the return routeMark first aid, restrooms, lockers and the route back to the correct gate.

These are planning stops, not a scale map. Use the operator map and signs for exact paths, entrances and accessible routes.

These three photographs are visual anchors for different parts of the map. They are not a claim that the park has three fixed themed lands; use the current guide map for the exact attraction directory and paths.

Family and midway reference

The central family ride area

The central ride view gives a group a practical first reference after entry. Match the carousel and nearby ride structures to the Family Area labels before splitting toward larger attractions.

Choose a meeting point outside a queue, then use the operator map to add food, restrooms or a family ride that fits the group.

Landmarks: Central family rides, carousel and surrounding midway.

Route tip: Use the family area as a regroup point, then extend the circuit toward the next priority attraction.

Thrill ride landmark

Bandit and the larger ride circuit

Bandit’s visible track helps visitors recognize the larger ride area, but the track is not the queue route. Locate the signed entrance on the official map before moving through the surrounding attractions.

Check the current ride requirements and operation, then set a meeting point for nonriders before the group joins a queue.

Landmarks: Bandit coaster and the surrounding ride structures.

Route tip: Find the ride entrance first, then group nearby thrill or family stops instead of crossing the park repeatedly.

Factory-themed area

Goodjoba!! and the indoor attraction cluster

The Goodjoba!! sign is a strong wayfinding cue for the factory-themed attraction area. Use the map’s area label and attraction numbers to distinguish the cluster from the adjacent midway.

Indoor attractions can have weather or queue conditions different from outdoor rides. Confirm the current operating information before making Goodjoba!! the final stop.

Landmarks: Goodjoba!! sign and the factory-themed attraction cluster.

Route tip: Place Goodjoba!! on the circuit after choosing the gate and the day’s main outdoor ride.

Choose a route that fits your visit

Use these route ideas as planning sequences, not wait-time promises. Reorder them when the operating calendar, weather or group needs change.

Your priority A useful starting plan Check before moving on
Bandit first Reach the correct gate, find Bandit’s entrance and add nearby rides that fit the group. Height rules, operation and queue entry.
Family circuit Start in the Family Area, add a break and keep the return gate visible on the map. Companion rules and services for younger visitors.
Goodjoba!! focus Use the Goodjoba!! landmark to group factory-themed attractions before crossing to another area. Indoor queue conditions and current operation.
Split group Set a meeting point outside a queue, then let riders and nonriders follow separate short routes. A specific regroup location and the return route.
  1. Save the official map and identify the arrival gate that matches your transport.
  2. Choose one priority area and one regroup point.
  3. Check current attraction operation and ride requirements.
  4. Match the photo landmarks to the map, then add food, restrooms and first aid as needed.
  5. Reverse the route to the gate, station or gondola before the group is tired.

Arrival, services and accessible routes

Arrival and transport

The operator’s access page describes station, bus, gondola and driving approaches. Verify the live route and current parking information before travel.

Gate choice matters

A gate is a route decision, not just a label on the map. Save the gate with the return station or pickup point so the group does not exit on the wrong side.

Services on the map

The guide map marks first aid, AED, restrooms, baby room, lockers and accessible bathrooms. Identify the nearest symbols before they are needed.

Changing operations

The map shows attraction locations, while weather, maintenance and seasonal schedules can change availability. Check the operator’s current notices on the visit date.

How to use the map on the day

Open the operator map before leaving for the park and note its edition. A saved PDF helps with orientation but does not confirm today’s hours or closures.

On site, match a large landmark to the map, then follow signs to the actual queue or service entrance. Agree on a meeting point outside the queue.
