Inside Magic Kingdom

A night you cannot get with a regular ticket

The party turns Magic Kingdom into a Halloween event from 7 PM to midnight, with the Boo-to-You Parade, the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, and trick or treat trails that only run on party nights. Because the crowd is capped, lines on headliner rides often run shorter than a normal evening, which is a real part of the value.

What the party actually is

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed after hours event at Magic Kingdom on select nights from August 7 to October 31, 2026. Regular admission does not cover it. The trade is a smaller crowd than a normal park day and entertainment that only runs during the party, from 7 PM to midnight, with park entry starting at 4 PM.

What you get for the ticket

The ticket includes trick or treat trails with free candy for every guest, the Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade led by the Headless Horseman, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks hosted by Jack Skellington. You also get the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at Cinderella Castle, rare character meet and greets in Halloween costumes, DJ dance parties, while party-exclusive food and merchandise cost extra. New for 2026 is a Masquerade with Stitch, Lilo, and Angel in Tomorrowland.

How pricing and dates work

Tickets were advertised at $119–$229 plus tax depending on date; Disney now marks all 2026 dates sold out. Early August and midweek nights are the cheapest, while weekends and late October cost the most and sell out first, Halloween night included. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $10 per ticket on nights from August 7 to October 2. For future seasons, watch Disney’s announcements; do not assume 2026 prices or dates will carry over.

Deep Arrival recommendation

For 2026, attend only with a valid ticket already secured. Ticket holders may enter from 4 p.m.; all dates are currently sold out. Plan around one parade showing, the 11:15 PM run is usually less crowded than 8:15, plus the fireworks, and do not try to do everything. If you would rather have a holiday party with a different mood, the Christmas version is the sibling event to compare.

Planning traps

Mistakes to avoid

These are the small decisions that quietly derail an otherwise good plan.

1. Assuming a regular park ticket gets you into the party

It is a separate ticket.

2. Waiting to buy a cheap date or Halloween night

Those sell out first.

3. Showing up at 7 PM and wasting the 4 PM early entry you already paid for.

4. Trying to ride everything and see every show

Pick a parade, the fireworks, and a few trick or treat trails.
