Closures

Closures and Daily Changes

The Closed Right Now list reflects the posted-wait feed. A closed reading does not establish a refurbishment or reopening date. Check the official operating calendar for announced closures and changes to your visit date.

Universal lists a maintenance closure beginning October 26, 2026, with reopening planned on or before April 1, 2027, subject to change. This scheduled closure is separate from today’s reported attraction status.

Check the official operating calendar. Regular admission, early entry and separately ticketed events can have different conditions.

Comparison

How Today Compares

The 30 day all day average is the mean of daily averages over the 30 calendar days ending yesterday, counting only days with data: 27 of 30 days reported, Sep 14 to Oct 13. It is not a figure for this hour.

How to Use Volcano Bay Wait Times

Use Find a Ride to search by name. Shortest, Longest and A to Z change the order; Rides Only removes classified shows, character meets and other queues. Read each usable wait alongside its reporting time, then recheck at the entrance.

Volcano Bay is a water park. Follow the operator app and on-site instructions for queue entry and return conditions; a posted number alone does not establish admission or the queue procedure.

Use the Volcano Bay map and height requirements to check the route and your group’s eligibility.

Recorded Context

What the Comparison Means

Average Posted Wait counts attractions with usable current readings. Ride extremes use classified rides. Updating, Open, no posted wait and Closed are distinct states and do not mean zero-minute queues.

How Today Compares uses recorded whole-day averages and shows calendar-day coverage. It is context for this park, not a forecast for the current hour or an individual ride. For a future date, check park hours and the crowd calendar. Estimates with missing provenance remain explicitly marked.

Source Notes

Attraction Coverage

Attraction labels use the provider’s current named queues. International land and type groupings combine the existing curated crosswalk with available operator information; unreviewed entries remain More attractions. These groupings do not establish current admission or attraction availability.

Questions

Volcano Bay Wait Times FAQ

What are Volcano Bay wait times right now?

The board shows posted standby waits, with reporting times for usable readings. A park marked closed, an Updating tile or Open, no posted wait has no usable current number for that state.

Which attractions are included?

The board covers named attractions carried by the provider. Unresolved names are withheld. Rides Only and ride extremes use recorded ride classifications; shows, character meets and other queues are separate.

How often do waits update?

Deep Arrival collects posted waits from Queue-Times.com about every 10 minutes. Provider observations older than 20 minutes are marked Updating. A recent collection time does not make an old observation current.

How do I search or sort the board?

Use Find a Ride and enter the attraction name. Shortest, Longest and A to Z change the order. Rides Only filters out classified shows, character meets and other queues.

Does zero mean there is no queue?

An unverified zero is shown as Open, no posted wait and excluded from the average. Closed is a separate state. Confirm conditions at the attraction entrance.

Does this include priority or single-rider access?

No. These are posted standby waits. They do not establish priority access, single-rider availability, timed-entry eligibility or the price of a separate access product. Check the official operator app.

What happens after regular hours?

The page distinguishes regular admission hours from attractions still reporting waits. A posted value after closing does not prove public admission or a named special event.

Can recorded history predict my next ride wait?

No. Recorded park-level daily averages provide context, with missing days and coverage shown. They are not predictions for individual rides or for this hour.

Method

How the Data Works

  1. Posted Waits

Posted waits come from Queue-Times.com. Deep Arrival collects them about every 10 minutes; the check time is shown in park time (ET). The check time and each attraction observation are separate: a new check does not make an old observation fresh. Readings older than 20 minutes are marked Updating. Posted waits are estimates, not a promise of the time you will spend in line.

  2. Averages and Extremes

Average Posted Wait is the arithmetic mean of fresh positive posted waits from all reporting main-park feed attractions, including rides, shows and character meets. Shortest and longest prefer classified rides; coverage is shown beside the figures. Open, no posted wait is excluded from the average and does not promise a zero-minute queue. Rides Open follows provider attraction status, not park admission hours. Feed coverage is not complete.

  3. Comparisons

The 30 day all day average is the mean of daily averages over the 30 calendar days ending yesterday, counting only days with usable data. It needs at least 10 days and shows coverage. Missing days are No data, never zero. This is not a figure for the same hour. Current comparisons need at least 3 fresh posted waits. Resort rankings also require parks inside regular hours; a lower current park average is not a crowd or ride recommendation.

  4. Park Hours

Park hours come from the Deep Arrival hours calendar, supplemented by exact dated closures verified on an official operator calendar. A verified closure applies only to its recorded park date. Missing hours remain unknown; closed ride readings alone never establish that the park is closed. Fresh waits may still be shown before opening or after regular hours, with no event or admission eligibility inferred.

  5. Crowd Levels

Crowd levels are estimates from the Deep Arrival crowd calendar on a 1 to 10 scale, with their basis and issue date beside the outlook. They are not attendance counts and not wait predictions.

  6. Status Labels

Park closed today means a dated calendar confirms a full-day closure. Closed right now means before opening or after regular hours. Closed on a ride reports that attraction status only. No posted waits means a fresh check has no usable numeric waits and does not establish park closure. Updating or Data delayed means readings are missing or too old, not zero-minute waits.

  7. Planned Closures

Each planned closure links to the operator page it comes from. Operators change dates without notice.
