Map highlights and current planning notes
The current Mid America Adventure sheet reflects a change in ownership and a milestone anniversary for one of the park’s original coasters.
The park has a new name and operator. Enchanted Parks announced the Mid America Adventure name on August 27, 2026. Eligible Six Flags passes purchased before April 6 retain transitional 2026 access; later products follow different terms.
Screamin’ Eagle turns 50. The operator is celebrating the 1976 wooden coaster’s anniversary in 2026 and currently lists a top speed of 62 mph.
Use the new operator map. The current PDF identifies the theme-park rides and the adjacent Hurricane Harbor. Standard theme-park admission does not automatically include Hurricane Harbor; check the selected ticket or pass.
Mid America Adventure area navigator
Mid America Adventure runs from the front gate back toward its coaster cluster, with the water park along the front of the property. Four clusters organize the day: The Boss and the eastern coaster cluster, the Screamin’ Eagle wooden corner, the Thunder River and Log Flume water rides at the center, and Hurricane Harbor near the entrance. Each card illustrates an area and adds nearby rides and practical route guidance.

American Thunder and the coaster route
American Thunder is the wooden coaster shown in the photo. Use the current map to connect it with The Boss and the park’s steel-coaster lineup without assuming a specific wait pattern.

How to use this map
Orient by the front gate arch. It sits at the entrance off Six Flags Road, with the coaster cluster and Batman: The Ride toward the east, the Screamin' Eagle wooden corner near the center, and Hurricane Harbor water park along the front of the property. The park reads as a loop off the main midway, so plan a route that does not double back.
For a copy you can carry without signal, open the printable PDF map linked at the top of this page and save it to your phone, or print it at home. For live ride waits, open the official app. The area navigator above is the fastest way to see which coaster sits in which part of the park.
