Closures

Closures and Daily Changes

The Closed Right Now list reflects the posted-wait feed. A closed reading does not establish a refurbishment or reopening date, and a missing reading does not mean a zero-minute queue.

For announced closures, entertainment and changes to the operating day, check the official operating calendar for your visit date. Schedules can change.

Comparison

How Today Compares

The 30 day all day average is the mean of daily averages over the 30 calendar days ending yesterday, counting only days with data: 27 of 30 days reported, Sep 14 to Oct 13. It is not a figure for this hour.

How to Use SeaWorld Orlando Wait Times

Choose Shortest, Longest or A to Z to order the attraction board. Find a Ride searches by name; Rides Only removes classified shows, character meets and other queues. The board covers attractions carried by the feed.

Read each tile’s timestamp alongside its posted standby wait. A number is an estimate, not a measured promise about the time you will spend in line. Updating and Open, no posted wait carry no usable current number.

SeaWorld Orlando’s board covers attractions carried by the wait feed. Use the park map to choose the next stop and verify height requirements for your group before crossing the park. Use the SeaWorld Orlando map and height requirements to check the route and your group’s eligibility.

Choose Your Next Stop

Check the Ride Before You Walk

If Mako, Manta and Penguin Trek are on your list, use Find a Ride to check each attraction’s current tile. Recheck on arrival: a queue can change while you cross the park.

How Today Compares puts current posted waits beside recorded whole-day averages. That comparison provides context; it does not predict the wait at this hour. For a future visit, check park hours and the crowd calendar. Crowd values remain estimates with their available source, basis and issue date.

Questions

SeaWorld Orlando Wait Times FAQ

What are the SeaWorld Orlando wait times right now?

The attraction board shows posted standby waits from the feed, with a reporting time for each usable reading. Average Posted Wait includes all attractions currently posting a usable wait; Shortest Ride Wait and Longest Ride Wait use classified rides.

Which attractions are included?

The board covers named attractions carried by the provider. Unresolved names are withheld. Shows and other queues can appear when supplied; Rides Only and ride extremes use classified rides.

How often does the board update?

Deep Arrival collects posted waits from Queue-Times.com about every 10 minutes. A provider observation older than 20 minutes is marked Updating instead of being displayed as live. A recent collection time does not make an old provider reading current.

How do I find a ride or change the order?

Use Find a Ride and enter the attraction name. Shortest, Longest and A to Z change the order. Rides Only filters the board to classified rides; turn it off to include other attraction types.

Does a zero mean there is no line?

An unverified zero is shown as Open, no posted wait and is excluded from the average. A closed attraction is a separate state. Check the entrance sign or the official operator app before deciding to walk to a ride.

Is the park average the same as the longest ride wait?

No. The average counts every attraction currently posting a usable wait, including shows and character queues. The reporting count appears with the average. Ride extremes use only classified rides; a non-ride queue can be longer.

Does this board show priority access?

No. This board shows posted standby waits and does not include priority access availability, prices or separate priority-queue waits. Check the official operator app for those details.

What happens after regular park hours?

The page distinguishes the scheduled admission period from attractions still reporting waits. Posted waits after the regular closing time do not prove public admission or a named special event. Check the published hours and ticket conditions for your date.

How should I plan a future SeaWorld Orlando visit?

Use Park Tools for park hours, the crowd calendar, the map, height requirements and tickets. Recent history shows recorded calendar days and coverage; missing days remain No data. It does not predict an individual ride’s future wait.

Method

How the Data Works

  1. Posted Waits

Posted waits come from Queue-Times.com. Deep Arrival collects them about every 10 minutes; the check time is shown in park time (ET). The check time and each attraction observation are separate: a new check does not make an old observation fresh. Readings older than 20 minutes are marked Updating. Posted waits are estimates, not a promise of the time you will spend in line.

  2. Averages and Extremes

Average Posted Wait is the arithmetic mean of fresh positive posted waits from all reporting main-park feed attractions, including rides, shows and character meets. Shortest and longest prefer classified rides; coverage is shown beside the figures. Open, no posted wait is excluded from the average and does not promise a zero-minute queue. Rides Open follows provider attraction status, not park admission hours. Feed coverage is not complete.

  3. Comparisons

The 30 day all day average is the mean of daily averages over the 30 calendar days ending yesterday, counting only days with usable data. It needs at least 10 days and shows coverage. Missing days are No data, never zero. This is not a figure for the same hour. Current comparisons need at least 3 fresh posted waits. Resort rankings also require parks inside regular hours; a lower current park average is not a crowd or ride recommendation.

  4. Park Hours

Park hours come from the Deep Arrival hours calendar, supplemented by exact dated closures verified on an official operator calendar. A verified closure applies only to its recorded park date. Missing hours remain unknown; closed ride readings alone never establish that the park is closed. Fresh waits may still be shown before opening or after regular hours, with no event or admission eligibility inferred.

  5. Crowd Levels

Crowd levels are estimates from the Deep Arrival crowd calendar on a 1 to 10 scale, with their basis and issue date beside the outlook. They are not attendance counts and not wait predictions.

  6. Status Labels

Park closed today means a dated calendar confirms a full-day closure. Closed right now means before opening or after regular hours. Closed on a ride reports that attraction status only. No posted waits means a fresh check has no usable numeric waits and does not establish park closure. Updating or Data delayed means readings are missing or too old, not zero-minute waits.

  7. Planned Closures

Each planned closure links to the operator page it comes from. Operators change dates without notice.

Powered by Queue-Times.comPosted waits are supplied by the credited provider. Deep Arrival is not affiliated with any park operator.
