How to read these hours
A few signals tell you everything important about each date at LEGOLAND Korea Resort at a glance.
There is no early entry at LEGOLAND Korea, only an earlier shuttle
LEGOLAND Korea does not publish an early entry window, and that is worth stating plainly because several sister parks do. The official hotel pages list daily breakfast, themed rooms, an in room treasure hunt and a position a short walk from the park entrance, but nothing about admission before the posted open. Package pages describe early hotel check in at 1:00 PM, which is a room benefit rather than a park one. The annual pass program was being rebuilt through 2026 and carries no published early access either. Whatever you book, the turnstiles at Brick Street admit everyone at 10:00 AM.
What an early start does change is your place in the arrival queue, and in Chuncheon that matters more than at a park you can walk into. Almost nobody reaches the gate on foot. Drivers leave the car at the Hajungdo lot and ride a shuttle that begins at 9:30 AM and runs every 10 to 15 minutes. Train arrivals take the free shuttle from Chuncheon Station Exit 1, which also starts around 9:30 AM but runs only once an hour. Both deliver guests in batches, so the entrance plaza fills in waves rather than a steady trickle.
What 40,000, 70,000 and 130,000 won buy at the Fastrack desk
LEGOLAND Korea sells one paid line skip, Fastrack, in three tiers that all draw on the same list of 21 attractions. Bronze costs 40,000 won and lets you pick three rides. Silver costs 70,000 won for six. Gold costs 130,000 won and is unlimited for the day, issued as a wristband collected inside the park after an identity check. Bronze and Silver work through a QR code scanned at each ride's merge point, with one use deducted per scan. None of the three includes admission, which is listed at 66,000 won for an adult at the gate and from 47,000 won booked online.
Whether any tier earns its price depends almost entirely on the date, and the posted close makes that easy to read. On a Tuesday in April or a Wednesday in June, when the park shuts at 5:00 PM and the shuttle runs half empty, three Bronze uses are hard to spend well. On a Saturday in October during Brick or Treat, with a 9:00 PM close and the whole of Gangwon Province out for the weekend, Gold is the difference between riding Masters of Spinjitzu twice and riding it once. Sales are capped each day, so buy ahead.
Night opening dates, Brick or Treat, and the 9:00 PM close
Three closing times appear on the 2026 LEGOLAND Korea calendar and only one of them is late. A 9:00 PM close marks a night opening date, and those cluster on Saturdays and Korean public holidays between late April and the end of October. April 25 was the first of the year. May carried the most, including the run around Children's Day, and from June onward the pattern settled into designated Saturdays plus the occasional Friday or holiday Sunday.
Brick or Treat, subtitled Mischievous Monster Expedition, runs September 11 through November 15, 2026 and is included with admission rather than sold separately. It fills the ordinary operating day with monster characters, decorated areas and trick or treat stops instead of taking the park over after dark, which is why September and October weekdays still close at 5:00 PM. Fireworks have been staged on late close dates in previous seasons, and the park lists them among its seasonal programming, but 2026 showtimes appear only in the LEGOLAND app.
Summer Play and the water attractions
Summer Play ran June 19 to September 7, 2026, built around Marina Jet Bay in LEGO City, a ground fountain and water bucket area open 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and to 6:00 PM on weekends and holidays, with the bucket starting at noon. Water Maze, a separately ticketed attraction run in sessions capped at 232 guests, operated July 17 through August 23 on select dates and stayed open to 7:30 PM on three of them. Neither is a water park.
Open all year, closed most of the midweek: how the Chuncheon calendar works
LEGOLAND Korea does not shut down for the winter. It stays open through January and February and holds a 10:00 AM open on every posted date of 2026, New Year's Day included. What it does instead is cut days out of the week. From December through February the park runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and closes Monday through Thursday, with holiday stretches added on top: it stayed open ten days straight across the Lunar New Year period in mid February.
The week widens as the year warms. Early March kept the Tuesday to Thursday closures, then daily operation began around March 20 and held through June 29. A short run of Tuesday and Wednesday closures returned in early July, daily operation resumed from July 16, and three midweek days went dark on August 25, 26 and 27. Early September repeated the pattern in its first two weeks, after which the park ran daily from September 11 straight through October 31. November moved to Friday through Monday, and December fell back to Friday through Sunday.
How far ahead the calendar goes, and what winter takes away
The official opening hours page carries a full year calendar, so dates months out are usually already posted. As of early September 2026 the published run ended on December 27, with December 28 through 31 not yet set. Two official notes matter more than they look. Hours can change without prior notice for on site reasons, and during the winter season the use of rides and attractions in some theme areas is restricted. A January visit buys a shorter day and a shorter ride list.
The opening hour with small children: LEGO City before Brick Street
The shuttle arrangement changes what the first hour looks like. Because guests arrive in batches rather than a stream, the plaza at Brick Street can be nearly empty at 10:05 AM and crowded at 10:20 AM, and the attractions closest to the entrance absorb that first wave. LEGO Factory Adventure Ride sits right there and takes the brunt of it. Walking past it costs four minutes and saves a queue later, when the same ride is one of the few indoor options during a hot or wet Gangwon afternoon.
Where you go instead depends on how tall the smallest member of your group is. Driving School in LEGO City requires 115 centimeters and is for children only. Junior Driving School requires 95 centimeters on the same terms. Both run in timed groups, which caps how many children get through in an hour and makes them the two attractions most likely to hold a long line by early afternoon. For a group built around a preschooler, they are the strongest opening move anywhere in the park.
A first hour sorted by height
Taller children change the order. Masters of Spinjitzu, the spinning coaster in LEGO NINJAGO World, opened in 2025 and needs an adult alongside anyone between 100 and 130 centimeters. The Dragon in LEGO Castle applies the same rule from 100 to 120 centimeters. Both sit well away from the entrance, which is exactly what you want in the opening hour. Miniland rewards a slow walk and reads better in late afternoon light, so leave it until the arrival waves have thinned.

Reaching Hajungdo island from Seoul by ITX, subway or car
LEGOLAND Korea sits at 128 Hajungdo-gil in Chuncheon, on Hajungdo island in the Bukhan River, roughly 90 kilometers northeast of Seoul. The fastest public route is the ITX-Cheongchun, which the park times at about one hour and 13 minutes from Yongsan Station to Chuncheon Station; trains from Cheongnyangni are quicker still. A same day ITX ticket earns 30 percent off gate admission. From Chuncheon Station a free shuttle leaves Exit 1 once an hour, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on 5:00 PM dates and to 5:30 PM on 6:00 PM dates, so the last useful departure is earlier than most visitors assume.
The cheaper alternative is the Gyeongchun Line, part of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, which reaches Chuncheon from Sangbong in about 89 minutes. Drivers use the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway; the park quotes about 30 minutes from Gangchon IC and 50 minutes from Hwado IC. Parking is at the Hajungdo lot, where the first hour is free, two hours cost 3,000 won, three hours 6,000 won, four hours 9,000 won, and five hours or more reach a 12,000 won daily maximum, charged at 500 won per 10 minutes. Motorcycles, recreational vehicles and trailers are not admitted.
The 2026 year in Chuncheon: three day winter weeks and a daily October
January and February are the thinnest months. The park opens Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on every one of them, with Monday through Thursday closed apart from New Year's Day and the long Lunar New Year stretch in mid February. March is a transition: the same Tuesday to Thursday gaps run through three weeks, then daily operation begins around March 20 and weekend closes step up to 6:00 PM.
April through June is the most predictable part of the calendar. The park runs every day, weekdays close at 5:00 PM, Sundays at 6:00 PM, and designated Saturdays and public holidays at 9:00 PM. July brought back a few Tuesday and Wednesday closures before settling into daily operation from the middle of the month, and August ran daily apart from August 25 to 27. The Saturday night opening pattern held through both.
Autumn is the fullest stretch on the calendar. From September 11, the day Brick or Treat opened, the park ran daily through the end of October with no closed dates at all: weekdays to 5:00 PM, Sundays to 6:00 PM, Saturdays and holidays to 9:00 PM, and the Chuseok dates in late September also at 9:00 PM. November is where the year turns back. Weekend closes dropped to 5:00 PM once Brick or Treat finished on November 15, the week shortened to Friday through Monday, and December returned to Friday through Sunday.
Why the closing time is the only number that moves
Because the open never changes, the posted close is the only figure on a LEGOLAND Korea date that carries information. A 5:00 PM close is the default, and it means one of two different things depending on the month: a quiet weekday in spring or autumn, or a winter weekend when 5:00 PM is as long as the day gets. A 6:00 PM close is an ordinary warm season weekend. A 9:00 PM close is the park committing to a night opening.
Frequently asked questions
What time does LEGOLAND Korea open?
LEGOLAND Korea opens at 10:00 AM. Every date on the published 2026 calendar uses the same 10:00 AM open, in Korea Standard Time, in every month and on every day of the week, winter weekends and Brick or Treat dates included. There is no early entry window for hotel guests, package holders or pass holders, so the turnstiles at Brick Street admit everyone together.
What time does LEGOLAND Korea close?
LEGOLAND Korea closes at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM or 9:00 PM. Weekdays finish at 5:00 PM all year, and so do winter weekends from December through February. Weekends from spring through autumn close at 6:00 PM. Designated night opening dates, mostly Saturdays and Korean public holidays between late April and October 31, run to 9:00 PM.
What are LEGOLAND Korea's hours today?
In Korea Standard Time, today's hours appear in the card near the top of this page. The open will read 10:00 AM. The close will be 5:00 PM on a weekday or any winter date, 6:00 PM on a warm season weekend, or 9:00 PM on a night opening date. If the card shows no hours, the park is closed and the shuttles do not run.
Is LEGOLAND Korea open tomorrow, and at what times?
The 14 day table beneath the today card carries tomorrow, and the day by day list below shows every posted date. LEGOLAND Korea publishes its calendar months ahead, so tomorrow is rarely a surprise. The official note is that hours can change without prior notice for on site reasons, so confirm in the LEGOLAND app the evening before.
Is LEGOLAND Korea open in winter, and which months does it run?
Yes, and every month of the year is on the calendar. LEGOLAND Korea does not close for the winter; it cuts days out of the week instead. From December through February it operates Friday, Saturday and Sunday and closes Monday through Thursday, apart from the New Year and Lunar New Year stretches. April, May, October and most of the summer run daily, and some rides and areas are restricted in winter.
Can LEGOLAND Hotel guests enter the park before 10:00 AM?
No. LEGOLAND Korea publishes no early entry or preview window for anyone. The LEGOLAND Hotel lists daily breakfast, themed rooms, an in room treasure hunt and a position steps from the park entrance, plus 1:00 PM early check in on some packages, but no admission before 10:00 AM. The practical equivalent is catching the 9:30 AM shuttle from the Hajungdo parking lot.
Where should you head first at LEGOLAND Korea with a preschooler?
Head for LEGO City and Driving School, which requires 115 centimeters and admits children only, or Junior Driving School at 95 centimeters on the same terms. Both run in timed groups, so they build the longest lines by early afternoon. Walk past LEGO Factory Adventure Ride at Brick Street on the way in; it is indoors and better saved for the hot part of the day.
Which Fastrack tier is worth buying at LEGOLAND Korea?
It depends on the closing time. On a 5:00 PM weekday in spring or autumn the queues rarely justify Bronze at 40,000 won for three rides. On a Saturday with a 9:00 PM close, especially during Brick or Treat, Gold at 130,000 won for unlimited use is the tier that pays for itself. Silver at 70,000 won covers six rides, and daily sales are capped.
Does LEGOLAND Korea run fireworks or night openings?
The park schedules night opening dates with a 9:00 PM close, mostly Saturdays and Korean public holidays from late April through October 31, and lists fireworks among its seasonal programming. LEGOLAND Korea does not publish 2026 fireworks dates or showtimes on its website, so treat the 9:00 PM close as the signal that something is scheduled and check the LEGOLAND app on the day.
How early do you need to be at LEGOLAND Korea?
Aim to reach the Hajungdo parking lot by about 9:30 AM, when the shuttle to the park entrance starts running every 10 to 15 minutes. By train, target the Chuncheon Station Exit 1 shuttle, which leaves once an hour from about 9:30 AM. Because everyone arrives by shuttle, the entrance plaza fills in waves, and being in the first one is worth roughly half an hour.
How do you reach LEGOLAND Korea from Seoul, and what does parking cost?
By train, the ITX-Cheongchun reaches Chuncheon from Yongsan in about 1 hour 13 minutes, and a same day ticket earns 30 percent off admission; a free shuttle runs from Chuncheon Station Exit 1. Drivers park at the Hajungdo lot, where the first hour is free, two hours cost 3,000 won and five hours or more reach a 12,000 won daily maximum. Motorcycles and recreational vehicles are not admitted.
How do LEGOLAND Korea hours change in the busiest weeks?
The open never moves; the close and the number of operating days do. Summer and October run daily, with Saturdays and holidays extended to 9:00 PM. Winter cuts the week to three days and holds every close at 5:00 PM. Korean holiday periods override the pattern: the park stayed open ten days straight across the Lunar New Year and ran to 9:00 PM over Chuseok.
Why do so many LEGOLAND Korea dates close at 5:00 PM?
A 5:00 PM close is the standard weekday schedule and the standard winter schedule, and it reflects daylight and expected attendance rather than anything unusual. From December through February it applies to weekends too. A 6:00 PM close marks a warm season weekend, and only a designated night opening date reaches 9:00 PM. Hours can also change on short notice for on site reasons.
