Limak Kosovo International Airport said on September 8 that Wizz Air has added a direct link between Pristina’s Adem Jashari Airport and Rome Fiumicino, according to SeeNews. Current Wizz Air Malta schedules list the route twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, as flight W46104 leaving Pristina around 22:30, with a block time of about one hour 45 minutes to two hours.
If you need a nonstop between Kosovo and Rome this autumn, check those two weekdays on Wizz Air’s Pristina to Rome fare page before you assume a daily bank. For baggage, seat, and disruption rules on this carrier, start with Deep Arrival’s Wizz Air guide.
- Route: Pristina (PRN) to Rome Fiumicino (FCO), operated by Wizz Air Malta.
- Days: Tuesdays and Saturdays, two flights a week.
- Timing: W46104 is listed around 22:30 from Pristina; flight time is about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours.
- Fares: Wizz Air’s own page recently showed one-way economy from about 25 euros on selected September dates.
- Airport: Wizz Air departs Fiumicino from Terminal 3 on its Rome services.
Pristina to Fiumicino Is a Two-Day Weekly Pattern
SeeNews reported that LKIA, the Pristina airport operator, posted the new Rome connection on Facebook on Tuesday, September 8. The same report said Wizz Air’s schedule puts the service on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Independent timetable listings for PRN-FCO show only Wizz Air Malta on the nonstop, at two weekly frequencies, with W46104 as the published flight number and evening departures clustered near 22:30.
That pattern matters more than a “new route” headline. A Tuesday outbound needs a Saturday return, or a Saturday outbound needs a Tuesday return, unless you add a connection. Do not plan a midweek city break on this pair alone. Confirm both directions on the same booking, because the return from Fiumicino is a separate inventory and can sell out on a different day.
Wizz Air’s Rome Plan Named September 22 From Fiumicino
In a December 18, 2025 network notice republished through MarketScreener, Wizz Air listed Rome Fiumicino to Pristina among eight new Fiumicino routes, twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a first-flight date of September 22, 2026, and a published from-price of 29.99 euros. That is the airline’s own dated plan for the Italy-origin side. LKIA’s September 8 note is the Kosovo-origin confirmation that the city pair is now in public schedules.
Wizz Air’s live fare calendar has shown PRN-FCO prices on dates around mid-September, including figures near 25 euros on some later September days and higher amounts closer in. Treat those as shopping snapshots, not a guaranteed launch fare. Always re-price on wizzair.com, and add the carrier’s bag and seat fees before comparing it with a connecting itinerary over Vienna, Istanbul, or another hub.
How This Fits Wizz Air’s Kosovo and Rome Networks
SeeNews noted that Wizz Air already links Kosovo with Brussels, London, Bratislava, Basel, Milan, Dortmund, Karlsruhe, and Munich. Pristina to Fiumicino adds the Italian capital without a change of planes. It does not replace those other cities, and it does not create a daily Kosovo-Italy shuttle. Milan remains the other listed Italian point from Pristina.
From Rome, Wizz Air is separately expanding its Fiumicino base, including new routes that began or begin this month from Turin and other Italian points. Deep Arrival already covered the Turin base routes that start September 14, which include Turin to Rome Fiumicino. That is a different city pair. Do not mix a Turin-Rome seat with a Pristina-Rome seat when you build a Kosovo trip.
If Rome is the destination, Deep Arrival’s where to stay in Rome comparison is the next planning page after you lock the airport pair. Fiumicino is not Civitavecchia. A cruise-port transfer is the wrong map for this arrival.
Booking Checks Before You Pay
Wizz Air sells a low base fare and then charges for cabin bags above the under-seat size, checked bags, seat assignment, and many changes. A 25 euro headline can double once you add a cabin bag for two people. Price the extras on the same screen as the ticket. If you need a guaranteed overhead bag, buy it at booking rather than at the gate. A late inbound to Fiumicino also means the last easy city-center trains may already be thinning out, so price a prebooked airport bus or a hotel near Termini only after you know the actual arrival clock, not the 22:30 Pristina departure alone.
Passport rules are not the same for every passenger on this pair. EU and Schengen-area passports are the simple case for a short Italy stay. Other passports, including some Western Balkan documents, still need a live check of Italy’s entry rules before you pay. Do not assume a Kosovo-Italy nonstop implies visa-free entry for every nationality on the booking.
Terminal 3 at Fiumicino is the usual Wizz Air departure terminal there. Arrivals can use Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 depending on the flight. Follow the airport screens rather than a memory of a previous Wizz arrival. On the Pristina side, Adem Jashari is a single-terminal airport; allow extra time for evening W46104, because a 22:30 departure is late enough that a missed bag drop has no later same-day rescue flight.
| If you… | What to do |
|---|---|
| Need Kosovo to Rome this month | Search Tuesday and Saturday dates on Wizz Air. There is no daily nonstop on this pair. |
| Need a midweek trip | Use a connection, or fly Wizz to Milan and continue overland. Do not wait for a Wednesday PRN-FCO flight that is not in the schedule. |
| Are starting in Rome | Match the December plan’s Tuesday and Saturday Fiumicino departures, and confirm the next operating date on wizzair.com rather than assuming September 22 is the only day. |
| Are comparing with Turin-Rome | That is a different Wizz route from the new Turin base. It does not carry you to Pristina. |
What Is Confirmed and What Still Needs a Ticket Check
Confirmed: LKIA announced the Pristina-Rome Fiumicino link on September 8. Independent schedules show Wizz Air Malta twice weekly, Tuesdays and Saturdays, W46104 from Pristina around 22:30. Wizz Air’s December notice named Fiumicino to Pristina twice weekly from September 22 at a from-price of 29.99 euros. Unresolved without a live search: whether a specific Tuesday or Saturday is already full, whether the aircraft is an A321, and the exact return flight number from FCO.
Do not treat the 25 euro shopping figure as a sale that lasts all autumn. Low-cost inventory moves by day. If both Tuesday and Saturday are sold out, the next useful check is the following week, not a hope that Wizz will add a third weekly overnight.
Tuesday and Saturday are the only nonstop days. Build the trip around those two weekdays, including the return, before you book hotels.
Evening departure from Pristina. W46104 is listed near 22:30. Plan airport arrival, bag drop, and a buffer. There is no later same-day Wizz rescue on this route.
Price the bags. The base fare is not the trip cost. Add cabin or checked bags on the Wizz Air site before you compare it with a one-stop ticket.
