Travelers comparing Canada, United States, sun, Europe, or Tokyo itineraries need to pick the right offer before that cutoff, then confirm the travel window and blackout dates in the booking path. Code 8B7N8AM Takes 15 Percent Off Select Base Fares

WestJet’s deals page lists code 8B7N8AM as a 15 percent cut on select UltraBasic, Econo, and Premium base fares. Business and Flex products are not in that offer block. The 15 percent applies to the base fare only. Other air transportation charges, taxes, fees, and charges stay full price, so the checkout total will not drop by a clean 15 percent.

Travel under the code runs from September 28, 2026, through April 24, 2027. Seasonal start and end dates can still appear in the booking flow, so a date inside that window is not a match until the itinerary prices with the code applied. Canadian deal tracker Bargainmoose independently listed a matching 15 percent wholly operated offer on UltraBasic, Econo, and Premium fares with blackout dates, on its WestJet coupon page.

A Second Network Sale Runs on the Same Night

Below the promo-code block, WestJet is also advertising that every destination it flies is on sale. That second offer uses the same September 22, 2026, 11:59 p.m. MT booking deadline, but a different travel window: September 23, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Use it if you must fly before September 28, when the 15 percent code starts, or after April 24, 2027, when the code ends.

WestJet does not publish a second promo code for the network sale. Sale inventory is meant to appear when you search a wholly operated WestJet itinerary. The two offers do not stack. Blackout Dates That Block Holidays and March Break

The 15 percent code carries a long blackout list. WestJet excludes November 11 to 16, 2026; December 17 to 24 and December 26 to 31, 2026; January 1 to 5, 2027; February 11 to 15, 20 to 21, and 26 to 28, 2027; March 5 to 7, 12 to 14, 19 to 21, and 25 to 29, 2027; and April 2 to 4, 2027.

Those dates line up with Canadian Thanksgiving week, the Christmas and New Year peak, Family Day and Presidents’ Day weekends, March break clusters, and the Easter weekend in early April. If your trip sits on one of those blocks, the 15 percent code will not price, even if you book tonight.

The network sale’s blackouts are shorter: December 17 to 31, 2026, and January 1 to 4, 2027. Late-December and New Year travel is the shared dead zone. A March 2027 school-break trip that fails the code may still be eligible for the network sale, because that sale does not list March blackouts.

If the code is rejected, check whether the flight is a codeshare, a Flex or Business cabin, a companion-voucher booking, or a blackout date.

WestJet is telling callers that wait times are high and pointing people to self-serve tools. A phone agent is not required to apply a web promo code. Screenshot the priced itinerary, including the code and the base-fare line, before you pay. Inventory can disappear while the booking clock is still open.

Taxes, Codeshares and Companion Vouchers Stay Full Price

WestJet states the offer is valid on wholly operated flights to all destinations, with no codeshare or interline flights. A Calgary to Los Angeles flight on WestJet metal can qualify. A Canada to South Pacific trip that uses the new Fiji Airways codeshare, or any itinerary that puts you on another airline’s flight number, will not.

The code also cannot be used on a companion voucher booking or a group-rate booking. Bereavement fares cannot be combined with other promotions, sales, or discount codes. If you already hold a WestJet companion voucher, price the itinerary both ways: voucher without the 15 percent, and 15 percent without the voucher. Only one of those paths will clear.
