Erlebnispark Tripsdrill in Cleebronn, between Stuttgart and Heilbronn in south west Germany, runs its Schaurige Altweibernächte scare evenings on 9, 10, 16 and 17 October 2026, from 18:30 to 22:30. The evenings need their own ticket, 27.50 euros for the Altweibernacht-Pass, according to MaisMaze, the haunt company that builds the mazes with the park.
The park then adds a new light festival, Lichtergaudi, from 24 October to 1 November. For rides, layout and planning basics, see our Tripsdrill guide.
- Scare nights: Friday 9, Saturday 10, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October, 18:30 to 22:30.
- Tickets: 27.50 euros, or 48.50 euros with a Blitz-Pass.
- Age: mazes recommended from 12.
- Lichtergaudi: 24 October to 1 November, open until 20:00.
- Season end: the park runs daily until 8 November.
Four Scare Nights in October
The park’s events page lists the Schaurige Altweibernächte on Friday 9, Saturday 10, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026. MaisMaze gives the hours as 18:30 to 22:30 on each night.
German theme park site FreizeitparkNEWS reports that the evenings need a separate ticket, even for annual pass holders. With only four dates, the Saturdays are likely to be the busiest, so book early if you want one.
Mazes, Rides and the New Hotel Maze
FreizeitparkNEWS says the evenings bring four mazes, including a new one called Zimmer frei!, set in an abandoned hotel. Scare actors roam the park.
MaisMaze lists Klapsmühle, a sanatorium where visitors become patients; Mit allen Wassern gewaschen, set among temple ruins around a fountain of youth; Unter die Haut, a tailor themed maze; and the Schauerhof farm scare zone.
Selected rides run in the evening, including the G’sengte Sau, Mammut and Karacho roller coasters, according to FreizeitparkNEWS. A fountain show with light and water plays, and the evening bar stays open until midnight.
| If you want… | Plan for |
|---|---|
| Mazes and coasters after dark | A scare night, 27.50 euros. |
| Shorter waits on those nights | The 48.50 euro ticket with a Blitz-Pass. |
| A family evening without scares | Lichtergaudi, 24 October to 1 November. |
| Children under 12 | Lichtergaudi or a daytime visit instead of the mazes. |
| A late season visit | Any day until 8 November. |
Tickets and Age Guidance
MaisMaze lists two tickets: the Altweibernacht-Pass at 27.50 euros and the Altweibernacht-Pass with a Blitz-Pass at 48.50 euros. Tickets are sold through the Tripsdrill ticket shop.
“We recommend all horror mazes from a minimum age of 12,” MaisMaze says. Families with younger children are better served by the park’s daytime programme or the new light festival.
Because the evening ticket is separate from a day visit, check whether you want both before you buy. A day ticket does not cover the scare nights, according to FreizeitparkNEWS.
Lichtergaudi: A New Light Festival
From 24 October to 1 November 2026, Tripsdrill adds Lichtergaudi, its first light festival, with light installations, special programme items and a drone show. The park stays open until 20:00 on those days, FreizeitparkNEWS reports.
Lichtergaudi is included in regular day tickets and annual passes. An afternoon ticket valid from 14:00 costs 34 to 38 euros, the same report says, which suits a late arrival for the lights.
After Lichtergaudi ends, the park keeps running daily until 8 November, the last day of its autumn season.
Getting There and Planning the Evening
Tripsdrill sits in Cleebronn in the Zabergäu area of Baden-Württemberg, about 40 kilometres north of Stuttgart and a short drive from Heilbronn. Most visitors arrive by car.
The scare nights finish at 22:30, so a late drive home is part of the plan. The park’s Natur-Resort, with tree houses and shepherd’s huts on site, is an option if you would rather stay over.
If you want both a scare night and the light festival, note that they do not overlap. The last scare night is 17 October and Lichtergaudi starts a week later, on 24 October, so they need two separate trips or a longer stay in the region.
Four hours is enough for the mazes and a few coaster rides on a busy night, but the new maze is likely to draw the longest queue. Start with Zimmer frei! if it is the one you most want to see, and buy tickets in advance through the park’s online ticket shop.
Scare nights: 9, 10, 16 and 17 October, separate 27.50 euro ticket.
New: the Zimmer frei! maze and the Lichtergaudi light festival.
Families: mazes are recommended from 12; choose Lichtergaudi for younger children.
