StarCruises is bringing Star Voyager back to Jakarta for the 2027 Lebaran holiday, with four night round trips from Tanjung Priok to Singapore departing on 7 and 11 March 2027, plus one way two night sailings between the two cities on 5 and 15 March. Cruise Industry News and Indonesia’s Bisnis Indonesia reported the schedule on 21 September.
For Indonesian families, the pitch is a holiday that doubles as the journey to Singapore, with no hotel changes and halal dining aboard. What StarCruises Announced
The sailings are built around Lebaran, the Idul Fitri holiday that falls in early March in 2027. Each four night round trip leaves Jakarta, spends time in Singapore and returns to Tanjung Priok. Cruise Industry News also lists departures from Singapore on 9 and 13 March, which suits Singapore residents who want the same short break in the other direction.
StarDream Cruises president Michael Goh said the line was delighted to offer Indonesian travelers a new kind of holiday, according to Bisnis Indonesia. In English, Travel Trade Journal quoted him describing sailings that bring “families and loved ones together for a holiday filled with quality time, shared experiences and discovery.”
The onboard program is aimed at families: a halal food section at the Lido, stage shows, a captain’s gala evening, pools, waterslides, a zipline, a climbing wall and the Little Dreamers kids club.
Time Ashore in Singapore
The Singapore call is the destination half of the trip. The announcement points passengers to Orchard Road for shopping, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa, all within a short taxi or MRT ride of the cruise terminals. Call times for each date were not published, so how much of that is realistic depends on the schedule the line confirms at booking.
A Return, Not a First
Star Voyager has sailed from Jakarta before. In 2025 the ship ran Jakarta departures to Singapore and Melaka in April and four night Jakarta to Singapore round trips through June and July, as Medcom reported when the ship first called at Tanjung Priok. The 2027 program brings it back for a short, holiday focused window rather than a season.
