Seven Seas Prestige: Which 11 Dining Venues Open in December?

ShareEmailWhatsAppLinkedInXFacebook
Regent's Seven Seas Grandeur at anchor, a fleetmate of the Seven Seas Prestige, which is still under construction

Regent Seven Seas has published the dining plan for Seven Seas Prestige three months before the ship carries a passenger, and one part of it is not about this ship at all. Solmar Terrace, a new open air daytime venue, joins a rewritten Azure menu and enhanced Prime 7 recipes that will spread across the fleet, Cruise Industry News reported.

That last detail is the one that reaches existing Regent passengers. Anyone sailing another ship in the fleet is looking at a preview of their own steakhouse.

At a Glance
  • New venue: Solmar Terrace, aft of Compass Rose on deck 5, open noon to 6pm.
  • Exclusive to: Seven Seas Prestige, the first ship of Regent’s new Prestige Class.
  • Total dining: 11 experiences aboard, from Compass Rose to Coffee Connection.
  • Fleetwide: the new Prime 7 recipes debut here, then roll out to other ships.
  • In service: December 2026, opening with a transatlantic from Barcelona to Miami.

Solmar Terrace Fills the Gap Between Lunch and Dinner

The new venue sits aft of Compass Rose on deck five and runs from noon until six in the evening. That window is the tell: it is built for the hours a ship is usually either in port or between meals.

The menu is small plates rather than courses. Mezze style appetisers, sushi, tapas and yakitori sit alongside a chilled gazpacho, with Korean beef short rib, chicken or shrimp satay, teriyaki pork belly, king oyster mushroom and Japanese broiled salmon on the grill list.

Desserts are tres leches cake or crema Catalana. Nothing on that list needs a reservation slot or a dressing up, which is the point of a daytime terrace.

For a passenger the practical value is straightforward. On a Caribbean sailing with long afternoons in port, an al fresco venue that runs to six gives a late returner somewhere to eat that is not a main dining room service window.

The Prime 7 Changes Are the Fleetwide Story

Prime 7 is Regent’s steakhouse and it exists on the rest of the fleet, which is why its rewrite matters beyond one ship.

The updated recipes are drawn from acclaimed steakhouses including Daniel’s in Miami, and the published list runs to house smoked and honey roasted baby back ribs, lobster thermidor, halibut fish and chips with hot yuzu aioli, roasted chicken supreme with spinach and porcini stuffing, hashbrown tempura with lime chilli salt and truffle mac and cheese.

The desserts are doing some work too: lemon meringue pie, a 14 layer chocolate mousse cake with drunken cherries called the Ultimate Chocolate Dessert, and a double chocolate brownie served with tres leches ice cream.

Regent has said these debut on Prestige and roll out across the fleet at a later date. No date has been given for that rollout, which is the gap in an otherwise detailed announcement.

Azure is being rewritten at the same time, on the same small plates logic: miso roasted aubergine, croquetas di carne with piquillo peppers, gambas al ajillo, a chilled and spiced watermelon and feta salad, lobster orzo saganaki and duck leg confit.

If you… What to do
Are booked on another Regent ship Watch for the Prime 7 rollout. No date has been published for when it reaches your ship.
Are booked on Prestige Solmar Terrace is exclusive to this ship, so it is one of the few things a fleet veteran has not seen.
Spend long days in port The noon to 6pm window covers the late return, which main dining rooms usually do not.
Are comparing luxury lines on dining Count venues carefully. Eleven experiences here includes a pool grill and a coffee bar.
Want the maiden voyage It leaves Barcelona on 13 December 2026 for a 14 night crossing to Miami.

Eleven Venues, and What That Number Contains

Regent describes Prestige as offering a culinary journey across 11 dining experiences, and it is worth knowing what is inside that count before using it to compare ships.

Alongside Solmar Terrace, Azure and Prime 7, the list carries Compass Rose, Pacific Rim, Chartreuse, Sette Mari at La Veranda and La Veranda itself, plus the Pool Grill and Coffee Connection.

Several of those are the same physical space at different times of day, and two of them are a grill and a coffee bar rather than restaurants. That is normal across the industry and it is not a criticism, but a count of eleven is not eleven separate evening restaurants.

The cleaner figure is the speciality count. Regent has released design details for seven speciality dining venues aboard Prestige, according to CruiseMapper, with Azure’s interior designed by Studio DADO and AD Associates. Seven speciality rooms is the number that compares against other luxury ships.

The other figure that matters is the ship’s size. Prestige carries 850 guests, so the ratio of venues to passengers is high by any standard, and that is the comparison worth making rather than the raw count.

The Ship Behind the Menus

Seven Seas Prestige is the first of a new class, under construction at Fincantieri in Italy, and enters service in December 2026 with a 13 cruise inaugural season. It follows the Solara sports deck reveal in the same run of pre debut announcements.

The maiden voyage leaves Barcelona on 13 December 2026 on a 14 night transatlantic to Miami by way of Malaga, Madeira and Tortola, with up to 38 included shore excursions on that sailing alone.

From Miami the ship then runs 10 and 11 night Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries to Jamaica, Mexico, Belize, Antigua, Guadeloupe and St Kitts. In late January 2027 it makes its first Panama Canal crossing, a 15 night Miami to Los Angeles sailing with more than 95 included shore excursions.

That US season is why the dining announcement lands now rather than next spring. The ship is selling a North American winter, and menus are what a luxury line sells when the ship itself cannot yet be photographed at sea.

What Has Not Been Published

No date for the Prime 7 fleetwide rollout, which is the single most useful thing an existing Regent passenger could be told.

Nor has the line said whether Solmar Terrace will remain exclusive to Prestige or appear on the second Prestige Class ship. It is described as exclusive to this vessel, which is not the same as exclusive to this class.

Reservation policy for the new venue is also unstated. A noon to six terrace that takes walk ups behaves very differently from one that fills on a booking system, and nothing in the announcement says which it is.

There is no seating capacity for Solmar Terrace either, which on an 850 guest ship is the difference between a venue everyone can use on a sea day and one that is effectively first come. Regent has published the hours and the menu without the number that would let a passenger judge either.

Planning Impact

The steakhouse news is fleetwide. Prime 7’s new recipes start on Prestige and spread, so this is a preview for the whole Regent fleet.

Solmar Terrace is a port day venue. Noon to 6pm is the window that main dining rooms leave open.

Eleven is a count, not a comparison. It includes a pool grill and a coffee bar, so read it against the 850 guest capacity instead.
