SeaWorld Orlando August Pass Perks and Mako Tour

SeaWorld Orlando published its August 2026 Pass Member calendar on August 1, led by a limited Mako 10th anniversary behind-the-scenes tour on August 16 and a stack of dated queue, Howl-O-Scream, and guest-ticket offers.

For active Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Florida Platinum Pass Members, the next useful moves are calendar holds, not generic park advice: reserve the Mako tour if present, print vouchers on the listed windows, and buy Howl-O-Scream inventory only while the lounge sale is open.

SeaWorld’s own post is the primary source for every date and limit below. Offers exclude Fun Card, Florida Teacher Card, Preschool Card, Friends and Family Pass, and transferable passes unless noted.

Mako 10th anniversary tour on August 16

According to the official SeaWorld Orlando August Pass Member news post, the park is offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Mako on National Roller Coaster Day, Saturday, August 16.

Tours are listed at 10am and 1pm, with only 50 spots per tour. Reservations must be made in person at the SkyTower Tour Desk on a first-come, first-served basis for Pass Members present at sign-up.

Pass Members may reserve one tour time only. No guests are allowed on the tour. That rule makes the tour a pure member product, not a bring-a-friend experience.

If the tour is a must-do, arrive early enough to be present at the desk before the day’s slots fill. Do not treat a social repost as a confirmed reservation.

The same August package ties Mako’s anniversary to a free Pass Member ride lanyard and pouch at Reef Treasures from August 16 through 31 while supplies last. Show an active Annual Pass and take one per visiting member.

Quick Queue, guest tickets, and mid-month value

Free Quick Queue Unlimited after 4pm runs August 17 through 28. Members print a voucher at a self-serve kiosk and can use it every day after 4pm during the window.

SeaWorld notes exclusions such as Penguin Trek and Expedition Odyssey. Confirm ride operations and park hours before building an evening-only plan around the voucher.

Guest tickets for Pass Members are listed at $44.99 each for up to four tickets, available August 1 through 31 through the Pass Member portal or self-service kiosks. The Pass Member must be present for the guest to enter, and tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable under the posted terms.

That guest-ticket ladder is useful for families hosting visitors in August without buying full rack-rate day tickets for every guest.

$10 SeaWorld Bucks run only August 1 through 9, with one voucher per active member and same-day redemption rules. If you still need that perk, use it before the early-month window closes.

Howl-O-Scream preparation in August

Passport to Screams runs August 10 through 30. Scanning an Annual Pass at in-park kiosks unlocks weekly Howl-O-Scream rewards for event nights September 11 through October 31.

The posted weekly ladder includes a free Howl-O-Scream snack, $10 Howl-O-Scream Bucks, and a free one-time Howl-O-Scream Quick Queue, each on different August windows. Event admission is required and not included.

Separately, the Pass Member Lounge from August 14 through 30 offers a free one-time Howl-O-Scream Quick Queue voucher and an exclusive any-night Howl-O-Scream ticket for $34.99. Event admission rules and non-refundable ticket language still apply.

Travelers who already know they will attend Howl-O-Scream should treat mid-August lounge visits as inventory work, not optional browsing. Destination-level Orlando calendar planning still belongs on tools such as Visit Orlando, but the SeaWorld post remains the authority for these pass-only windows.

If you are stacking Aquatica and SeaWorld in the same week, keep the pass calendar separate from water-park night products. An Aquatica AquaGlow ticket does not unlock SeaWorld Pass Member lounge offers.

VIP Zoo Night and other August nights

VIP Zoo Night is listed for August 20 from 7pm to 9pm for active Pass Members and accompanying Preschool Card holders. Exclusive presentations include Dolphins at 7:30pm, Sea Lions at 8pm, and Light Up the Night at 8:30pm.

Pass Members must present a valid Annual Pass to stay after 7pm. Fun Card, Friends and Family, Teacher Cards, and Pass Member guest tickets are not valid for the event under the posted disclaimer.

A free Pass Member basting brush giveaway is limited to August 1, 2, 8, and 9 at Fins Gifts while supplies last. That is a short early-month item, not a season-long perk.

Red, White and BBQ free samples and discounted sampling lanyards cover late festival weekends in August. Alcohol rules still require guests to be 21 or older with photo ID.
