Seabourn Caribbean 10 Percent Off Ends September 17

Seabourn has opened bookings for its winter 2028 to 2029 Caribbean season, and the first filter is the homeport, not the brochure language. Seabourn’s August 11, 2026 release puts Seabourn Quest on Miami round trips and Seabourn Ovation on Barbados to Sint Maarten sailings.

The live money date is closer than the cruise dates. Seabourn’s official Caribbean page is still selling the new season with a 10 percent Early Booking Advantage through September 17, 2026, on preferred suites, subject to the posted terms.

What Seabourn actually put on sale

This is a booking-window story, not a new ship launch. The company says the winter collection uses Quest and Ovation for 10 unique itineraries of seven to 12 days, with 21 ports across 20 countries and island territories.

The official Caribbean destination card is more specific on inventory math. It lists 10 unique itineraries, 19 total departures, and a November through March timing window.

That November start matters because the press release’s winter window begins later. Seabourn’s release dates the season December 28, 2028, to March 29, 2029, then still features an eight-day “Caribbean Yachting and Caviar in the Surf” sailing on November 10, 2028. Treat the booking engine as the authority for any date that sits outside the December to March winter label.

Cruise Industry News independently restated the same two-ship split, the 10-itinerary count, and the 21-port map in its August 12, 2026 recap of the Seabourn 2028 to 2029 Caribbean open. The trade report also repeats the featured November 10, December 16, January 13, and February 3 combinations, including 14-day and 21-day stacked routes that sit beside the seven- to 12-day building blocks.

Do not mix this Caribbean season with Seabourn’s already live Ruby Collection 2028 anniversary voyage set. Those 54 voyages are a different booking stream.

Miami Quest versus Barbados Ovation

The useful contrast is air, not suite fabric.

Ovation is the island-to-island product. It sails between Bridgetown, Barbados, and Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. That can be the better trip if you want more yacht-harbor days and fewer sea days, but it is a worse trip if you assumed every Seabourn Caribbean sailing starts in Florida.

The official page still pushes Miami as the no-flight-between-you-and-the-islands pitch. That claim is true only for Quest. An Ovation guest still has to buy air into Barbados or Sint Maarten, then later buy the matching return from the other island unless the booked itinerary is a closed loop on the same port. Read the embark and disembark codes before you hold a refundable fare.

Seabourn says both ships can reach smaller harbors that larger vessels skip, including St. Barts, Bequia, and Little Bay, Montserrat. St. Barts is described as a one-ship-a-day harbor. Late departures are listed for St. Maarten, Antigua, Barbados, Aruba, and Curaçao, which is the difference between a 5 p.m. all-aboard and a dinner ashore.

If you already keep a Seabourn fleet comparison open, use it only to remember which hull you are buying. Quest is the ship that just finished a major interior dry dock, according to the same August release. Ovation is the newer ocean-ship sister on the Barbados to Sint Maarten shuttle. Cabin photos from 2024 do not settle the 2028 product; the live suite category on the booking path does.

The September 17 early-booking term

The dated traveler action is the 10 percent Early Booking Advantage through September 17, 2026.

Seabourn’s Caribbean page says the discount applies when you book preferred suites by that date. The same page points to a separate terms block rather than printing a full eligibility matrix on the destination card. Login state, suite category, and combinability with other offers can change what you actually see.

A clean check takes five minutes. Open the official Caribbean booking path, filter to Quest from Miami or Ovation from Barbados, pick one sailing you would actually take, and look for the 10 percent line on that suite before you pay a deposit. If the discount is missing, do not assume the press announcement still applies to your category.

The offer is a reason to compare now, not a reason to buy a sailing you cannot use. A 10 percent cut on the wrong homeport is still the wrong trip. If you need Christmas week, New Year’s week, or a school-break block, those holiday departures will thin first, and the September date is the last cheap moment to lock them while the discount still prints.

Seabourn also invites guests to combine itineraries into longer Caribbean stays. That is real inventory, not just marketing. The featured 14-day Southern Caribbean Yacht Harbors sailing on January 13, 2029, and the 21-day Southern Caribbean, St. Barts, and Yacht Harbors combination on February 3, 2029, are the stacked versions of the shorter building blocks. Price the combined fare against two separate deposits before you treat a 21-day string as a bargain.

Holiday sailings and Caviar in the Surf

The signature beach day is still Caviar in the Surf at Carambola Beach on St. Kitts. Seabourn describes a private beach window with Champagne, caviar, and a barbecue served by the onboard team, then water toys in the afternoon.

Holiday inventory is more specific than the beach brand. The release says New Year’s Day celebrations at Carambola Beach take place aboard both Quest and Ovation. Christmas Eve at Carambola Beach and Christmas Day in Jost Van Dyke appear on select 10-day voyages. If those two calendar days are the point of the trip, do not buy a random seven-day January sailing and hope the same beach party attaches.

The official page adds one more operational detail that the press release leaves softer. On New Year’s Day, both ships are described as anchoring together for a joint celebration. That is a rare two-ship day, and it is also a day when tender capacity, beach space, and excursion inventory will feel tighter than a normal Tuesday call. Book the holiday hull only after the itinerary page names Carambola on the date you care about.

Shore examples in the release are a taste of the product, not a guaranteed tour locker. Antigua lists Nelson’s Dockyard and Shirley Heights. Saint Kitts lists Brimstone Hill Fortress and Caribelle Batik. Saint Lucia lists a catamaran toward the Pitons.

Barbados lists Historic Bridgetown and The Garrison. Curaçao lists a Willemstad trolley circuit. Those five names show a season built around yacht harbors and UNESCO sites, not private-island water parks. They still do not replace the excursion catalog on your sailing.

Quest guests will be buying the post-drydock interiors. The company calls that refit one of the most comprehensive interior updates in Seabourn’s history, covering suites, public rooms, dining rooms, and the spa. That is a product claim, not a reason to skip the live cabin diagram.

How to book this without mixing seasons

Start on Seabourn’s official Caribbean destination page, not on a third-party calendar screenshot. Use the Miami embark filter for Quest and the Barbados or Sint Maarten filter for Ovation. Then open one Quest date and one Ovation date side by side so the air cost is visible before the suite upgrade conversation starts.

Write down three checks and stop there. First, confirm the ship and homeport match the airport you can actually use in winter 2028 or 2029. Second, confirm the 10 percent Early Booking Advantage still displays on that suite before September 17, 2026. Third, if the trip is a holiday sailing, confirm Carambola Beach or Jost Van Dyke is printed on the exact day you need, not merely mentioned in the season essay.
