Qantas Extends Palau Flights Through November 2027

Australia and Qantas have extended the direct Brisbane to Koror Palau Paradise Express through November 30, 2027. Qantas will also operate a second weekly flight during the coming peak season, starting in December 2026.

The extra frequency gives travelers a shorter Palau itinerary that was difficult under the single weekly pattern. It does not mean two flights will operate every week through November 2027. The second service is seasonal, while the underlying direct route continues beyond that period. What Qantas Announced for Palau

The Palau Paradise Express links Brisbane Airport, code BNE, with Roman Tmetuchl International Airport, code ROR, near Koror. The Australian Government says its agreement with Qantas now keeps that direct air link running through November 30, 2027. That is the long term part of the announcement.

The schedule increase is narrower. Australian Aviation reports that the second weekly service will operate from December through March. The established Saturday departure from Brisbane and Sunday return from Koror are joined by a Wednesday outbound and Thursday return. Those two patterns create different possible trip lengths.

The source announcement says the route has carried more than 15,400 passengers since it began in 2024. Qantas took over the service in December 2024 under an Australian Government contract. Demand helps explain the extra peak flight, but the passenger total does not guarantee availability or a particular fare for a traveler’s dates.

The direct flight removes the need to connect through another Pacific or Asian hub when the Qantas service fits. A traveler starting outside Brisbane may still need a domestic positioning flight.
