OUTRIGGER also ties the timing to Castaway Island’s 60th anniversary year after first welcoming guests on July 6, 1966. That anniversary line is color, not a separate fare code.

Starting rates were listed from F$1861 including tax for two adults per night, about AU$1199. That is a different price shape than the Coral Coast percentage off product, so compare total trip cost, not only the headline 30 percent.

Castaway travel dates run from October 27, 2026, through March 31, 2028. That is a slightly earlier open date than the Beach Resort travel window, which matters for late October school holiday planners.

Private island logistics still include boat transfers and limited evening retail. The sale does not remove the need to budget transfers and any activities outside the meal plan.

How to decide between the two Fiji products

Choose Fiji Beach Resort when you want a mainland Coral Coast base, larger family activity infrastructure, and a pure room discount you can pair with flexible dining. The five night minimum is the hard floor for the up to 30 percent claim.

Choose Castaway when meals for a family of four are the expensive line item you want locked, and you prefer a smaller island footprint. The four night minimum is lower, but the cash rate starts higher.
