Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom where Mickeys Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are selling out for 2026

Seven Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights for 2026 are now sold out on Disney’s ticket system, including October 9, after the party calendar opened with strong early demand for opening night and peak October dates.

According to WDWMAGIC’s July 30 inventory check of the Disney sales board, October 9 joined a sold-out list that already held October 31, August 14, August 11, October 13, August 18, and August 7. Disney’s official party page still sells remaining nights, with prices ranging from about $119 to $229 plus tax by date.

If you need a specific party night this fall, buy a still-open date now or switch to a nearby available night, because seven high-demand slots are already gone and the remaining ladder is tightening from the bottom up.

At a Glance
  • Sold out total: Seven 2026 MNSSHP nights, including October 9.
  • Gone nights: Aug. 7, 11, 14, 18; Oct. 9, 13, 31.
  • Season window: Select nights August 7 through October 31, 2026.
  • Price band: About $119 to $229 per ticket plus tax by date.
  • Still open: Multiple late August, September, and mid to late October nights.

What sold out and what still lists inventory

WDWMAGIC reports that October 9 moved to sold out on the Disney website and was priced at $209 per person, matching October 13, which had sold earlier. With both $209 October nights gone, the cheapest listed October night left in that report was October 8 at $204.

The full sold-out set named on July 30 is opening night August 7, August 11, August 14, August 18, October 9, October 13, and Halloween night October 31. October 31 sold out on day one of general public sales, which is the usual first-loss night for this event.

Disney’s official party page still describes select nights from August 7 to October 31, 2026, with separate-ticket admission and a stated range of $119 to $229 plus tax. Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club members can save $10 per ticket for event nights from August 7 to October 2, 2026, according to the official event listing.

Remaining nights and the price ladder

WDWMAGIC’s remaining-inventory table still showed late August nights from $139 to $149, a full September ladder from $149 to $184, and October nights from $189 to $224 excluding the sold-out dates. Those figures are date-based rack prices on the sales board, not a guarantee that every night will stay available at that price until the party starts.

August nights that remain are concentrated after the first two weeks. If your Orlando trip is fixed to the first half of August, the sold-out cluster already removes four of the early party options and forces a pivot to August 21 or later, or to a different evening product.

September still has the broadest open set in the July 30 snapshot. That month is often the practical sweet spot for travelers who want lower party prices and fewer sold-out collisions, even when park daytime crowds stay high.

October retains several mid and late-month nights, but the $209 tier is gone and the remaining nights climb toward $219 and $224. Families shopping Halloween week should assume October 31 will not reopen and should price October 29 or 27 only if those still show available when they check.

How this changes a fall booking decision

Party tickets are separate from Magic Kingdom theme-park admission for daytime guests who leave and re-enter under party rules.

Guests already inside Magic Kingdom with valid admission may stay for the party only if they also hold a party ticket for that night. Confirm the current re-entry and wristband process on the official party page before you plan a double-dip day.

If your must-have night is sold out, the clean choices are a different open party night, a hard-ticket alternative such as a dessert party on an open date if still selling, or a non-party evening with regular park hours. Do not assume a third-party reseller will undercut Disney on sold-out nights without checking authenticity and transfer rules.

Disney’s reservation center number listed with the party sales path is 407-934-7639 for guests who prefer phone inventory checks. Online purchase remains the faster path when a night still shows Available on the calendar.

Deep Arrival’s Magic Kingdom planning guide remains useful for daytime ride and parade context around party nights. For ticket product framing beyond a single party, use the Walt Disney World tickets overview when you are comparing multi-day base tickets against hard-ticket evenings.

Earlier Deep Arrival coverage of the 2026 party foodie guide and the initial 2026 ticket window still helps for menu and season framing, but those posts do not replace this sold-out status update.

Why demand is running early

WDWMAGIC notes that the 2025 sellout sequence reached a full-season sellout by late September after a cascade of August and September nights disappeared in mid to late August. The 2026 board is already seven nights deep before August begins, which is ahead of that historical pace on the early calendar.

That does not prove every remaining night will sell out by a fixed date. It does mean travelers who need a specific school-break or Halloween-adjacent night should not wait for a late-summer price miracle on the most popular Fridays and Saturdays.

Passholder $10 discounts apply only through October 2 on the official discount language. Premium October nights after that window do not get that $10 break even when inventory remains.

Decision Matrix
Your situation Best next move
Need opening week or Aug. 7 to 18 party Assume Aug. 7, 11, 14, and 18 are gone; buy Aug. 21 or later if still open.
Need Halloween night October 31 Treat sold out as final; switch to Oct. 29, 27, or 25 if available.
Flexible September trip Buy a midweek September night while the $149 to $184 band still shows open.
Locked hotel for a sold-out date Change party night first; keep hotel if transport still works for the new date.
Passholder shopping before Oct. 2 Use the $10 discount on open nights through Oct. 2, then recheck capacity.
Planning Impact
  • Buy open nights now: Seven high-demand dates are already gone on the official board.
  • Avoid ghost dates: Do not plan travel around Aug. 7, 11, 14, 18 or Oct. 9, 13, 31 for this party.
  • Recheck before deposit: Confirm Available status on Disney’s purchase calendar the day you pay hotels.

If your preferred night is still open, buy it before the next midweek inventory snap. If it is already sold out, pick the closest open night that still fits your flights and hotels rather than waiting for a sold-out slot to reappear.
