Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party Dining Opens Sept. 3

Walt Disney World has posted the booking windows for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dining. On the official Be Our Guest Restaurant page and the matching Cinderella’s Royal Table page, Disney says Disney Resort hotel guests can book starting September 3, 2026, while all other guests can book starting September 9.

That is the traveler decision. Party tickets already went on sale earlier this summer. The next scarce inventory is table-service seating and fireworks dessert parties on the same November and December nights, and those calendars open in days, not months.

What Disney confirmed on the dining pages

Disney’s Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table listings now carry the same Christmas-party reservation language. Resort hotel guests may reserve party-night dates up to 60 days in advance of arrival, covering the full stay for up to 10 nights. Everyone else waits until September 9.

The same official pages list four Magic Kingdom table-service options for party nights: Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, The Plaza Restaurant, and The Beak and Barrel. They also point guests to Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace and the Plaza Garden Viewing variant.

Specialist desks including WDW News Today and BlogMickey matched those windows and restaurant names after the dining pages updated. The load-bearing dates still come from Disney’s own restaurant copy, not from secondary paraphrase.

A party ticket remains mandatory. Disney states that a separate Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket is required and is not included in the price of the meal or dessert party. Food and beverage still bill separately once you sit down.

Why the September 3 edge matters

The six-day head start is the practical story. Guests already staying on Disney property can lock a hard-to-get party dinner before the general pool opens. That advantage matters most for Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest, where party-night seats have historically disappeared quickly once the public window starts.

The 60-day advance rule still applies inside each window. A guest checking in November 12 can book the length of stay, up to 10 nights, when their window opens. That is different from a single-night grab on one calendar day. Families with multi-night resort stays can cover several party dates in one booking session if inventory remains.

Off-site guests should treat September 9 as a timed release. Have My Disney Experience signed in, party tickets purchased, and preferred restaurant dates ranked before the window opens. How the four restaurants change a party night

Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table are the premium memory bookings. They can define the evening, but they also consume the scarce hours between early entry and midnight. Guests who enter at 4:00 p.m. still have a limited runway before parade, stage shows, and fireworks stacks collide.

The Plaza Restaurant offers a Main Street base with easier walkability to castle-area entertainment. The Beak and Barrel adds a newer Adventureland tavern option to the Christmas party set, which is a meaningful change from older party dining menus that leaned harder on the classic Fantasyland and Main Street rooms.

None of these meals replace the need to plan entertainment. A 6:30 p.m. seating can finish cleanly before the densest party block. A later seating can protect dinner atmosphere and still leave a gap for fireworks, but it will cut into character and attraction time. Dessert parties are part of the same scramble

Disney’s dining pages also flag Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace and the Plaza Garden Viewing version. Both are separate paid experiences. They compete for the same party ticket, the same night, and often the same booking reflex as table service.

That creates a three-way tradeoff. Guests can buy dinner certainty, fireworks viewing certainty, or an open itinerary. Paying for two premium products on one party night can stack cost and compress free time. Paying for neither leaves more schedule flexibility and more reliance on arriving early and moving with the crowd.

Disney has not made the meal or dessert party prices part of the free restaurant blurb that announces the September windows. Confirm current pricing in My Disney Experience or by phone when your booking date opens. Do not assume last year’s dessert party rates still apply.

What is confirmed, and what still needs a live check

Confirmed on Disney’s current restaurant pages: the September 3 resort window, the September 9 general window, the 60-day advance rule with a 10-night stay cap, the four named restaurants, the existence of the two dessert party products, the November 8 to December 22 party season, 7:00 p.m. to midnight party hours, and the separate-ticket rule.

Still verify at booking time: exact seating inventories by date, live menu prices, dessert party inclusions, and whether a specific party night still has tickets left. Party-night restaurant calendars can look open in a news story and empty in the app five minutes after a window starts.

The holiday party season itself has not changed. What changed is the booking clock for the paid experiences inside it. Guests who treat September 3 and September 9 like ticket-sale mornings will have more control over dinner and fireworks seating. Guests who wait will still have a party, just with fewer guaranteed seats.
