Merlin Entertainments is offering free one-day admission to United States military members, veterans and first responders at three of its Florida attractions from October 1 through November 30, 2026. Eligible visitors also can buy one-day tickets for up to six accompanying guests at 50 percent off, which makes the fall window one of the cheapest times of the year for a qualifying family to visit.
The three participating venues are LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Orlando, with the two Orlando attractions sitting side by side at ICON Park on International Drive. Families planning around the offer should compare it against standard ticket prices in the LEGOLAND Florida tickets guide before deciding which dates to lock in.
Merlin confirms the terms on its official Madame Tussauds Orlando military ticket page, which states that eligible military members, veterans and first responders receive free one-day admission at all three attractions during the promotional period. Independent coverage from The Main Street Mouse on September 30 matches those terms and adds the verification mechanics that matter at the gate.
- What: Free one-day admission for eligible military, veterans and first responders, plus 50 percent off tickets for up to six guests.
- Where: LEGOLAND Florida Resort, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Orlando.
- When: October 1 through November 30, 2026. Tickets must be verified in advance and used inside that window.
- How to claim: Verify status through ID.me online or a participating local Military Ticket Office before visiting.
- Deadline risk: After November 30 the free ticket disappears and remaining visits fall back to standard or year round military pricing.
Which Florida Attractions Are Included
LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven anchors the offer as the only full theme park of the three, with LEGO themed rides, shows and interactive experiences aimed mainly at families with children. Central Florida families can visit for the day, while visitors from farther away may want an overnight stay near the resort.
SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium at ICON Park brings the marine side, with sharks, sea turtles and rays among its underwater exhibits on International Drive. Madame Tussauds Orlando stands in the same complex, pairing naturally with the aquarium for a single day that uses two of the three free ticket options without moving the car.
Who Qualifies for the Free Ticket
Eligible military guests include active members and veterans of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserves. The first responder side covers law enforcement officers, Emergency Medical Services personnel, EMTs and firefighters.
Each eligible visitor receives one complimentary one-day ticket per participating attraction during the window. Guests should confirm that their service or employment status meets the program rules before making travel plans, since the offer cannot be redeemed at the gate without prior verification.
Verify Through ID.me Before You Travel
Eligible guests must verify their status and secure tickets in advance, either online through ID.me or through a participating local Military Ticket Office. Reporting on the promotion notes that the complimentary ticket and the discounted guest tickets are not available for direct purchase or redemption at the attraction without that prior step.
That advance step is the most common failure point in military ticket promotions, so qualifying visitors should complete verification at least a few days before a planned visit. Same week holiday crowds around Thanksgiving can complicate last minute planning, and the November 30 end date leaves no room to fix a rejected verification after the fact.
Six Guests at Half Price Reshape the Family Budget
The companion discount is where larger parties save the most, since up to six accompanying family members or friends can enter on one-day tickets at 50 percent off. For a family of four or more visiting LEGOLAND Florida, that companion cut can outweigh the value of the single free ticket itself.
LEGOLAND Florida maintains a separate year round military pricing program outside this fall promotion, and Madame Tussauds Orlando lists its own dedicated military ticket options online. Travelers who cannot fit the October 1 to November 30 window should check those standing discounts rather than paying full gate price.
| Your situation | Best move |
|---|---|
| Eligible visitor free before November 30 | Verify on ID.me now and book the free ticket plus half price guest tickets. |
| Party of four or more with one eligible guest | Stack the free ticket with six half price companions at one park in a single day. |
| Visiting Orlando only, no car day to Winter Haven | Pair SEA LIFE Orlando with Madame Tussauds Orlando at ICON Park. |
| Travel dates fall after November 30 | Skip this promo and use standing military pricing at each attraction. |
| Status not yet verified | Start ID.me verification days early. Unverified guests pay full price at the gate. |
Plan Around the November 30 Deadline
The promotion doubles as a planning deadline because every ticket must be used by November 30, 2026, including the discounted companion tickets. Thanksgiving week sits inside the window, which pairs high crowds with the last chance to use the offer, so earlier October dates or the first half of November look calmer.
Military and first responder families with school age children should treat the end of November as a hard stop and verify status before booking anything else around the trip. The companion discount favors single park days with the whole party over splitting free tickets across multiple weekends, and ICON Park visitors can cover two attractions in one outing.
