London Stansted Expands Italy Network to 30 Summer Destinations

London Stansted Airport says its summer 2026 network now reaches 30 destinations across Italy, making Italy the best served country from the airport. The July 10 announcement brings together service operated by Ryanair, Jet2.com and BA CityFlyer, with direct options spanning major cities, regional airports, coastal gateways and the islands.

The useful change is not simply a larger number on a route map. Travelers can now compare more Italian arrival points from the same London airport, but the best itinerary still depends on the exact airport, operating carrier, seasonal dates, baggage price and ground transfer needed after landing.

What changed at London Stansted

In its official July 10 network announcement, London Stansted said Italy had expanded to 30 destinations for the summer. The airport described the milestone as its widest country network and named Ryanair, Jet2.com and BA CityFlyer as the airline partners providing the choice.

The airport’s list covers familiar city break markets such as Rome, Venice, Naples and Florence, along with regional options including Bari, Brindisi, Perugia, Pescara and Reggio Calabria. It also points travelers toward Sicily, Sardinia and Puglia, where a closer arrival airport can remove hours of driving or a domestic connection.

The biggest traveler benefit is access to regional Italy without automatically routing through a major hub.
