LEGACY Hanoi Cost Drops 30% Through Dec. 31

Fusion Hotel Group opened LÈGACY Hanoi, a Fusion Original, after a Grand Opening Ceremony on 16 September 2026. The 218-key hotel and serviced-apartment tower in Hanoi’s Ngoc Ha ward is now taking guests, with rooms listed from $210 and a grand-opening package that cuts 30% off plus spa and dining perks for stays through 31 December 2026.

If you already hold Hanoi dates this fall or winter, the booking decision is whether to lock that 30% window on the operator site before it expires, or to wait and pay the open rate. Pair the stay with a Hanoi day that actually uses the neighborhood: the hotel sits near West Lake, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology visitor guide is the closest Deep Arrival planning page for a capital itinerary.

Fusion Put a 218-Key Original Brand in Ngoc Ha

The 18 September Fusion announcement names LÈGACY Hanoi as a 5-star Fusion Original, not a Fusion Resort beach product. Hospitality & Catering News independently recorded the same 16 September ceremony, the 218-key split, and the Ngoc Ha ward location. Treat those two pages as the live facts. Older 2025 pipeline copy that spoke of 220 rooms is superseded.

CEO Christopher Hur said the hotel is meant to feel connected to Hanoi. General manager Ngo Anh Doan framed the same idea as heritage that still has to work as a hotel. The product is a city hotel with a spa and a 24th-floor restaurant. The 30% Opening Offer Ends 31 December 2026

Fusion’s current offer is specific. Rooms start from $210. The grand-opening package is 30% off, with room upgrades, flexible check-in or check-out, and 20% off at YÊN Spa and MỘC LOFT Restaurant, valid for stays through 31 December 2026. The announcement does not say whether $210 is the rate after the 30% cut or the starting rack before it. Price the stay in the booking engine and screenshot the total.

After 31 December 2026, Fusion has not published a successor rate. Book October through December 2026 nights inside the offer, or accept an unpublished later rate. 2027 nights are outside this package. Upgrades and flexible timing depend on inventory. The 20% spa and restaurant cut only helps if you use those outlets.

Hotel Rooms Sit Mid-Tower, Apartments Sit Above and Below

Fusion split the building on purpose. Hotel rooms occupy floors 14 to 18: 20 Original Rooms, 45 Deluxe Suites, 5 Premium Deluxe Suites, and 15 Executive Suites. Serviced apartments occupy floors 9 to 13 and 19 to 21, 133 units in all. Floor plans run from 37 square meters to 105 square meters across eight types, from studios to one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Hotel rooms and suites each have a private balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows. Fusion also lists a vintage record player with vinyl in the hotel rooms. Apartments are described with a Vietnamese heritage palette of wood, indigo, and terracotta, and the booking page adds kitchens on the apartment side. That is the fork: book a hotel room if you want nightly housekeeping and a shorter stay; book an apartment if you need a kitchen and a week or more in Hanoi.

Do not treat “218 rooms” as 218 identical keys. A 37-square-meter Original Room is a different product from a 105-square-meter two-bedroom unit. Confirm the category name in the confirmation email. Hospitality & Catering News repeats the same 85/133 split, which is useful when a booking screen only shows a marketing name.

West Lake Is the Location Test, Not a Room View Guarantee

Fusion’s live copy places the hotel in historic Ngoc Ha ward and sells city and West Lake views. The booking page says “near West Lake.” It does not guarantee a lake-facing room on every category. If a West Lake sightline is the reason you are choosing this tower over an Old Quarter hotel, filter for a lake-view category in the engine or call the hotel before you pay.

Ngoc Ha is a residential and historic slice of the capital, not the backpacker core around Hoan Kiem. Expect a quieter night and a longer ride to the Old Quarter than a Hang Bac hotel would give you. The trade is space, a spa, and a 24th-floor restaurant. Budget the taxi or Grab time into your first evening rather than assuming you can walk to the night market after check-in.

Long-haul access into Noi Bai is a separate booking. Deep Arrival’s recent Hanoi air file on Vietnam Airlines’ nonstop Hanoi to Amsterdam service is one Europe-to-capital path; U.S. travelers still typically connect in a Gulf, East Asia, or West Coast hub. Price the hotel only after the air ticket is real, because a 30% room deal does not offset a misaligned arrival after the restaurant closes.

Spa, 24th-Floor Dining, and the Rooftop Bar

YÊN Spa, named from the Vietnamese word for peace, lists Vietnamese-based therapies, massage and beauty treatments, plus an onsen with hot and cold pools, a sauna, steam room, and a lounge. The 20% opening perk applies here through 31 December 2026. Book a treatment when you book the room if the spa is why you chose Fusion.

MỘC LOFT is the 24th-floor all-day restaurant with a Northern Vietnam menu and about 100 seats on the booking page. 24 Social and Terrace is the rooftop bar. Fusion also describes a complimentary Sparkling Moments welcome in the lobby. Group dinners still need a reservation once you have a confirmation number. Design cues such as the Ô Quan Chưởng Gate, the Red River, the peach blossom, and a crane over reception help you recognize the lobby. They do not replace the rate check.
