Kennywood Adds Open House Haunt for Phantom Fall Fest 2026

Kennywood just gave Pittsburgh-area Halloween planners a clearer calendar and a new daytime option. Phantom Fall Fest returns on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1, 2026, and the park is converting its Ghostwood Estate dark ride into a walkthrough haunt that works for families before dark and for scare seekers after 6 p.m.

USA Today reported that park officials sent a media release describing a new haunt that lets guests explore an area on foot, plus a fall menu that includes a potato kielbasa skillet, smoked sausage mac and cheese, maple cinnamon sweet potato fries, and seasonal beers.
