IHG Hotels & Resorts is selling a members-only Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 rate on suites and premium rooms at participating hotels across Asia Pacific, with bookings open through September 30, 2026. The official IHG campaign page says eligible stays run from September 4, 2026 through June 30, 2027, and the promotional rate includes daily breakfast for up to two guests per room.
If you already have a three-night or longer Asia Pacific stay in mind, the useful move is to join IHG One Rewards for free, then search the designated Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 rate before the September 30 booking cutoff. Book by September 30 for Stays Through June 2027
The booking window is the part that matters first. IHG’s published terms say reservations must be made from September 1 through September 30, 2026, inclusive. After that date, the Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 rate for this Asia Pacific campaign is gone, even if your trip is still months away.
The stay window is much longer than the booking window. You can use the rate for selected nights from September 4, 2026 through June 30, 2027, which covers autumn city breaks, winter resort weeks, and spring 2027 travel. That split is why this is a planning decision now rather than a last-minute hotel coupon.
Bookings also have to be made at least three days before check-in. A Friday arrival needs a reservation by Tuesday. Same-week walk-up plans will not unlock the free night, even if rooms are sitting empty.
Premium Rooms and Suites Carry Breakfast
This is not a discount on every room type. IHG’s terms limit the promotion to suites and premium room types booked under the named Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 rate. A standard king that does not carry that rate label does not get a complimentary night.
Breakfast is built into the rate for up to two guests per room. Extra adults, children billed separately, and in-room dining are not covered, so confirm the hotel’s breakfast policy at checkout. Membership is required and free. You do not need elite status to see the rate.
Free Nights Stack in Three-Night Blocks
The complimentary night is not a floating credit. IHG says members must book at least three consecutive nights at the same participating hotel and pay for two, with the third night complimentary. The benefit is cumulative: every three consecutive nights on the same reservation yields one complimentary night.
A three-night stay is pay two. A six-night stay is pay four. A two-night weekend does not qualify, and a four-night stay still only unlocks one complimentary night because the extra night sits outside a complete block. The full stay has to live on a single reservation. Unused complimentary nights cannot be moved, cashed out, or applied to a different hotel. Some hotels also cap stays shorter than the campaign maximum of 30 nights.
Named Hotels in Singapore, Japan, and Australia
Singapore Promotions, reviewing the same offer, names two Singapore hotels on the current list: InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay and Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong. Other Singapore IHG hotels should not be assumed in unless the Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 rate appears for your dates.
Dellows News lists Japan and Southeast Asia examples, including ANA Holiday Inn Resort Karuizawa, ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort, Kimpton Kitalay Samui, and Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak. IHG’s English campaign page also features InterContinental Adelaide. Always search the named rate rather than assuming a brand is in.
IHG is also reshaping its Japan footprint through a separate Kyoto conversion program, covered in Deep Arrival’s Kyoto hotel conversion report. That is a different project. Do not treat a future Kyoto conversion as part of this sale unless the live booking path shows the promotional rate.
Taxes, Blackouts, and Brands Left Out
The promotional room rate is not a final bill. Singapore Promotions notes that tax, service charges, and credit-card surcharges sit outside the rate, and the hotel charges in local currency. Compare the payable total at checkout, not the headline nightly number.
Availability is limited, group bookings are not eligible, and the promotion cannot be stacked with another IHG offer. IHG Army Hotels, InterContinental Alliance Resorts, Six Senses, and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts are carved out entirely. Cancel inside 72 hours of arrival, or no-show, and you can be charged one night, subject to the hotel’s policy.
A Separate Europe and Middle East Sale Closes Sooner
Do not mix this campaign with IHG’s other Stay 3 Pay 2 sale. Singapore Promotions flags a separate One More Night promotion for selected hotels in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with bookings through September 15, 2026 and stays through September 30, 2026. That is a different rate and a closer deadline.
If your trip is Tokyo, Bali, Adelaide, or Singapore, use the Asia Pacific campaign page. If your trip is Paris or Dubai, look at the other sale. Points still earn on eligible bookings made through IHG websites, the app, reservation centers, or the hotel. Paying a third-party site for a cheaper-looking standard room will usually forfeit both the free night and breakfast.

Three days before arrival is the last legal booking moment. You cannot grab the rate on the eve of check-in.
