Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana Grand Opening Offer Starts at $190

Hyatt has opened a grand opening offer for Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, giving adults a new way to price the upcoming all-inclusive resort for stays beginning August 28, 2026. The headline rate starts at $190 per person, per night, and qualifying stays include $200 in resort coupons per room.

The deal is more nuanced than that first number suggests. The resort is still an upcoming opening, the rate is availability controlled, and the coupon package is divided across spa, dining, and wine credits rather than functioning like $200 in cash at checkout.

What Hyatt is actually offering

The official Hyatt Inclusive Collection offer applies to new reservations made through August 28 for travel through April 30, 2027. Hyatt says the starting rate reflects savings when this specific offer is selected, not a promise that every date or room will price at $190 per person.

That distinction matters for a two-person stay. At the advertised starting point, the room works out to at least $380 per night before any taxes or date-specific price differences, so the useful comparison is the final all-in total against other adults-only Punta Cana resorts for the same dates.

Hyatt describes the future property as an adults-only resort on Cabeza de Toro beach with round-the-clock dining access, nine dining venues, unlimited beverages, and a refreshed daily minibar. It also says restaurant reservations will not be required, which may appeal to travelers who dislike building every dinner around a fixed seating time.

The hotel has an active Hyatt property page and published contact information. That is evidence the resort is in Hyatt’s booking ecosystem, but it does not prove the hotel is already operating today.

The $200 benefit is a coupon book, not cash

The resort coupon package has a face value of $200 per room, per stay. Hyatt divides it into $100 for spa services, $60 toward a romantic dinner, and $40 for wine purchases, each with its own use rules.

Guests cannot apply the whole amount to the room bill or use it as a general food and beverage credit. The coupons are nonrefundable, nontransferable, noncumulative, and valid only during the original stay, so unused value disappears at departure.

The spa portion excludes 25-minute treatments and retail products, and Hyatt limits use to one coupon per spa treatment. The romantic dinner requires advance coordination with the concierge and remains subject to availability, while the wine benefit is split into individual $10 coupons with one coupon allowed per bottle.

The terms also exclude gratuities, taxes, gala dinners, beauty services, boutiques, medical services, the marina, diving, car rental, and travel agency services. A traveler who would not naturally book the spa, private dinner, or wine should value the coupon package at less than its $200 headline amount.

Opening timing still deserves a careful read

As of August 2, Hyatt’s special-offer page opens the eligible stay window on August 28. It does not separately guarantee that every advertised facility will be fully operating on that date, so travelers should treat the first available nights as opening-period stays.

Air Canada Vacations says the hotelier anticipates an August 28 opening and labels the property 18 and older. Its listing also warns that the displayed visuals are artistic renderings and that projected features are not guaranteed.

Other reporting illustrates why caution is useful. CoStar reported an expected August 2026 opening, while another travel seller listed August 30. Hyatt’s January development release cited 500 guestrooms, but Air Canada Vacations currently lists 467 rooms, so Deep Arrival is not treating either inventory figure as final until current operator materials reconcile it.

None of those differences means the resort will miss its target. They mean a traveler booking the first few weeks should confirm the opening date, available restaurants, pool and beach access, construction status, and any relocation protection in writing before the cancellation deadline.

Who this deal fits

This offer fits a couple or group of adults who wants an all-inclusive setup, likes the Cabeza de Toro location, and can use at least part of the spa or dining coupons. It is especially relevant when the final Hyatt price undercuts comparable rooms after taxes and airport transfers are included.

It is a weaker fit for travelers who want a long track record of guest reviews, a guaranteed list of operating venues, or a flexible general-purpose resort credit. Start by entering your exact travelers and dates on Hyatt’s booking site. Check whether the grand opening rate appears, which room is attached to it, and whether the total is refundable, partially refundable, or nonrefundable.

Then compare the booking confirmation with the offer terms. The terms say the promotion may be changed or closed, blackout and holiday restrictions can apply, and old reservations cannot simply be canceled and rebooked to capture the new rate.

Group travelers need one extra check. One portion of Hyatt’s language says the offer can combine with certain group programs, while the coupon section says the resort coupons do not apply to group bookings. Ask Hyatt to identify which benefits apply to your reservation and save the answer.

Finally, verify transportation from Punta Cana International Airport and the beach location against the places you plan to visit. An all-inclusive rate can be attractive, but the right resort is still the one that fits the geography and vacation style you are actually buying.
