Hilton Expands ResortPass Day Access Across the Americas

Hilton is extending its ResortPass partnership for three years across the Americas, widening a day access model that lets travelers use participating hotel pools, spas, fitness centers and cabanas without booking a room. The company announced the agreement on July 14 and paired it with a new series of ticketed pool events at five Hilton properties in Florida.

The practical change is broader than a one night promotion, but it does not mean every Hilton now sells a day pass. Access remains property specific, subject to availability and booked through ResortPass, while the first Off Hours schedule has separate dates, prices, age rules and cancellation terms for each event.

What Hilton Announced on July 14

Hilton’s official partnership announcement says the companies will scale day access across Hilton properties in the Americas under a new three year agreement. The release names pools, spas, fitness centers, private cabanas and curated experiences as the types of inventory that can appear on ResortPass.

That wording is important because the agreement describes a platform expansion, not an all property guarantee. A traveler should not assume that a Hilton near an airport, convention center or beach participates until the exact hotel and date appear in a current ResortPass search.

Hilton also introduced Off Hours as a ticketed event series that uses hotel pool spaces during periods that might otherwise have lighter demand. The initial Florida lineup combines pool access with themes, music, food, drinks or guided activities, making it different from a standard day pass that mainly unlocks amenities.

The events were visible on ResortPass before Hilton’s July 14 corporate announcement. The material update is the formal three year expansion across the Americas and Hilton’s confirmation that the event series sits inside that broader partnership, not a claim that every listed Florida event first appeared on July 14.

Five Florida Off Hours Events Are Listed

ResortPass’s current Off Hours calendar lists five Florida events during July 2026. The page provides the most useful comparison because it separates the date, venue, minimum price, age policy and major inclusions for each booking.

The West Palm Beach event includes guided mahjong instruction, open play, a signature drink and food, with cabana upgrades listed for groups. Tampa’s event centers on the first anniversary of the hotel’s Che Vita restaurant, with a spritz, market, live music and an artist included in the description.

An independent Tampa Bay events calendar also places the pool gathering at Hilton Tampa Downtown on July 18 at 7:00 PM with admission from $50. The ResortPass booking page remains the authority for inclusions, inventory and cancellation terms.

Hilton Orlando’s Glow Pool Party is the only family oriented listing in the initial group. ResortPass describes access to the resort’s main pool area, waterslide, splash pad and 892 foot lazy river, with a welcome drink, live music and a restaurant discount among the listed inclusions.

The Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood events remain adult oriented. Mediterranean Nights is described around a poolside market and passed food, while Playa Nights adds a salsa lesson, live Latin music and a signature drink at the Diplomat’s lagoon pool area.

A Day Pass Is Not the Same as a Room Reservation

A ResortPass booking covers only the product shown in the selected listing. It does not automatically include a guest room, overnight parking, breakfast, Hilton Honors benefits or unrestricted use of every facility at the property.

Travelers should read the inclusions line by line and check whether food credit, spa treatment, cabana seating, towels, locker access or parking is included or sold separately. A normal pool pass can also have different hours and access zones from an Off Hours ticket at the same hotel.

Price and Cancellation Checks Matter

ResortPass says general admission for the current Off Hours series commonly falls between $50 and $65, although the Hilton Orlando listing includes a lower child price and some properties sell cabanas or group upgrades. Those figures are starting points, not a promise that every tier will remain available.

The calendar says most events offer a full refund when canceled by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the day before the reservation. Travelers should still confirm the exact listing because a property, premium seat or late purchase can carry a different rule, and a weather decision may be handled separately.

Age limits also deserve an exact check. Four launch events are listed for adults 21 and older, while Hilton Orlando allows guests 13 and older at the adult price and lists a separate child ticket for ages 3 to 12.

How to Check Whether Another Hilton Participates

The three year agreement creates room for more participating hotels and experiences, but Hilton did not publish a fixed master list that guarantees future access. The reliable method is to search ResortPass for the destination and travel date, then open the exact hotel card and product before making plans around the amenity.

Availability can change with weather, private functions, maintenance and hotel occupancy. A listing that appears for one Saturday does not establish daily access, and a property that sells a pool pass may not sell spa access or an evening event.

Travelers staying at the hotel should also compare the ticket with benefits already included in their room reservation. Off Hours is designed for both locals and visitors, but an overnight guest should not pay twice for ordinary pool access unless the ticket adds a separately controlled event or inclusion.

The Hilton and ResortPass expansion makes hotel amenities more usable as stand alone travel products, especially for a long connection, pre check in day or local break. The value depends on the exact property, date and included experience, so the live listing should control the decision rather than the broad partnership announcement.
