Hilton’s official credit cards page now lists a limited-time welcome bonus on the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: 200,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after $6,000 in eligible purchases in the first six months of card membership. The offer ends January 13, 2027, and Hilton labels it the card’s best points offer yet. American Express issues the card at a $550 annual fee, with complimentary Diamond status, an annual Free Night Reward, and statement credits that offset the fee only if you actually use them.
The traveler decision is whether to apply before January 13, 2027, and which of the four current Hilton Amex offers matches the stay pattern you already have. If you redeem Hilton nights at compact select-service hotels, start with a live property shortlist such as Deep Arrival’s Hersheypark stadium hotel guide, which includes Tru by Hilton Hershey Chocolate Avenue among six named stays.
- Aspire bonus: 200,000 Hilton Honors points after $6,000 in eligible purchases in the first six months, per Hilton’s credit cards page.
- Deadline: Offer ends January 13, 2027, on all four current Hilton Amex welcome bonuses.
- Annual fee: $550 on Aspire; Surpass is $150; the no-fee Hilton Honors Card remains $0; the Business card is $195.
- Other current offers: Surpass: free night plus 130,000 after $3,000. No-fee card: free night plus 70,000 after $2,000. Business: free night plus 150,000 after $8,000.
- Issuer terms: American Express lists Diamond status, the annual free night, resort and flight credits, and earn rates. Terms apply.
Hilton’s 200000 Point Aspire Offer Is Time Limited
Hilton’s credit cards page states the Aspire welcome language in full: earn 200,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after $6,000 in eligible purchases in the first six months, and the offer ends January 13, 2027. That is a new public bonus cycle, not an extension of the 175,000-point window Deep Arrival covered when those offers were set to end on July 29, 2026. See Hilton Honors Amex Welcome Offers End July 29 With Up to 175000 Points.
The Points Guy updated its recurring Hilton Amex comparison on September 10, 2026, and calls this the highest Aspire bonus it has seen. TPG values Hilton points at 0.4 cents each, or $800 for 200,000 points, before the free night or credits. That valuation is TPG’s, not Hilton’s or American Express’s. Hilton’s own page markets the block as “Our Best Points Offer Yet,” which is advertising language, not an audit of every historic offer.
Four Hilton Amex Cards Carry the January 13 Deadline
The same Hilton page posts three personal cards and one business card, all ending January 13, 2027. The no-annual-fee Hilton Honors Card pays a Free Night Reward plus 70,000 points after $2,000 in six months. Surpass, at $150 a year, pays a Free Night Reward plus 130,000 after $3,000. Aspire, at $550, pays 200,000 after $6,000 and does not add a welcome free night, because the annual Free Night Reward is already an ongoing benefit.
The Hilton Honors Business Card, at $195 a year, pays a Free Night Reward plus 150,000 points after $8,000. TPG notes earlier Business bonuses reached 175,000 or 180,000 points without a free night, so this package is points plus a certificate, not a pure points high. Danny the Deal Guru reported the same four-card lift on September 10, 2026. Approval is not guaranteed, and terms apply, including which charges count as eligible purchases.
The 550 Dollar Fee Against Credits and Diamond Status
American Express lists the Aspire annual fee at $550. Complimentary Diamond status includes a 100 percent bonus on base stay points, premium Wi-Fi, space-available upgrades at select properties, and executive lounge access at select properties. Those perks pay only at hotels that deliver them. A Tru by Hilton stay will not match a Waldorf Astoria lounge.
The issuer publishes an annual Free Night Reward in year one and on renewal, plus a second certificate after $30,000 in calendar-year purchases and a third after another $30,000. Credits are capped at up to $400 a year on eligible Hilton resort charges, up to $200 on qualifying flights, and up to $219 toward CLEAR+ when you pay for that membership with the card, excluding taxes and fees and subject to auto-renewal. Unused credits do not refund the $550 fee.
Spend Thresholds Shape Which Card Fits
Aspire’s $6,000 in six months is the steepest personal threshold. Surpass asks for $3,000. The no-fee card asks for $2,000. Business asks for $8,000. Miss the window and the welcome bonus does not post.
After the bonus, earn rates decide whether the card stays useful. Aspire pays 14X on eligible direct Hilton stays, 7X on qualifying flights, select car rentals, and U.S. restaurants, and 3X on other eligible purchases. Surpass pays 12X at Hilton, 6X at U.S. restaurants, gas, and supermarkets, and 4X on U.S. online retail. The no-fee card pays 7X at Hilton and 5X at U.S. restaurants, gas, and supermarkets. An online travel agency stay usually will not earn the top hotel rate.
Surpass includes Gold status, up to $200 a year in Hilton credits, a Free Night Reward after $15,000 in calendar-year spend, and a Diamond upgrade after $40,000. The no-fee card includes Silver status and a Gold upgrade after $20,000. Neither matches Aspire’s Diamond from day one or the $400 resort-credit ceiling.
January 13 Is the Application Gate
Hilton and American Express both print January 13, 2027, as the offer end date. That is an application deadline, not a spend deadline. You still have six months after approval to hit the purchase requirement. Eligible purchases must post in that window or the bonus does not credit.
If you already hold a Hilton Amex card, welcome-bonus rules usually block a second bonus on the same product family for a period set by American Express. Read the current once-per-product language on the application terms. If you do not stay in the Hilton portfolio a few times a year, Diamond perks and resort credits will not repay the $550 fee even with 200,000 points attached.
| If you… | What to do |
|---|---|
| Stay often at Hilton and can spend $6,000 in six months | Apply for Aspire before January 13, 2027, then track the $550 fee against credits you will actually use. |
| Want a free night plus a smaller bonus at a lower fee | Use Surpass: Free Night Reward plus 130,000 points after $3,000, $150 annual fee, Gold status. |
| Want Hilton earning with no annual fee | Use the Hilton Honors Card: Free Night Reward plus 70,000 points after $2,000, $0 annual fee, Silver status. |
| Need a business card and can spend $8,000 in six months | Use the Hilton Honors Business Card: Free Night Reward plus 150,000 points after $8,000, $195 annual fee, through January 13, 2027. |
January 13, 2027 is the application gate. Hilton and American Express print that date as the offer end. Apply before it; the six-month spend clock starts after approval.
The $6,000 Aspire spend is the bonus gate. Eligible purchases must post in the first six months or the 200,000 points do not credit.
The $550 annual fee is the keep-or-cancel gate. Count only credits and Diamond stays you will use. Unused credits do not refund the fee.
When does the Hilton Aspire 200000 point offer end?
Hilton’s credit cards page says the Aspire 200,000-point welcome bonus ends January 13, 2027. The same date applies to the current Surpass, no-fee, and Business welcome offers.
How much do you have to spend for the Aspire bonus?
You must put $6,000 in eligible purchases on the Aspire Card in the first six months of card membership. American Express, not Hilton, determines which charges count as eligible.
What do the other Hilton Amex cards pay right now?
Surpass pays a Free Night Reward plus 130,000 points after $3,000 at a $150 annual fee. The no-fee card pays a Free Night Reward plus 70,000 after $2,000. The Business card pays a Free Night Reward plus 150,000 after $8,000 at a $195 annual fee.
Does the $550 Aspire fee get offset?
Only if you use the published credits and benefits. American Express lists up to $400 in Hilton resort credits, up to $200 in flight credits, up to $219 toward CLEAR+, an annual Free Night Reward, and Diamond status. Unused credits do not refund the fee.
