The official Smart Traveller conversion page says eligible HeyMax members can convert from 1,000 Max Miles into 1,000 ST Points with effect from 28 July 2026, and that converted points target Smart Traveller rewards across Plaza Premium Group lounges, dining, and travel services.
TTG Asia later framed the same deal as a broader loyalty network expansion for both brands in Singapore and Hong Kong. Treat the Smart Traveller terms page as authority on minimums, processing time, and account rules when the two surfaces differ in marketing language.

What you can convert, and what you cannot
Smart Traveller’s published terms require an active HeyMax account and a valid Smart Traveller account under the same name. You cannot convert Max Miles into someone else’s Smart Traveller balance. If you do not already hold both accounts, create and link them before you try a transfer inside the HeyMax app.
The minimum block is 1,000 Max Miles. There is no stated maximum number of conversions during the campaign period in the terms page, but both brands reserve the right to change the rate without prior notice. Once a conversion succeeds, Max Miles are deducted and are not refundable except for technical glitches.
Processing is listed as within 24 hours in normal conditions, with up to seven working days if systems fail. Members who do not see ST Points must contact HeyMax support within three working days of the transaction date. Keep screenshots of the conversion confirmation until the ST Points post.
This is a conversion product, not a free lounge membership. ST Points still need enough balance for the lounge product you want, and lounge access can still require capacity, valid travel documents, and local entry rules at each airport.

The traveler math still depends on how many Max Miles you can feed into ST Points before your next long haul day.
Compare the conversion against other Max Miles uses before you move a large balance. If your next trip does not need a Plaza Premium lounge, a different Max Miles redemption may still be better value. If you already buy lounge day passes in Singapore Changi or Hong Kong International, run the ST Point price against the cash desk rate before converting.

How to execute the conversion cleanly
Confirm both apps show the same legal name, then start the conversion inside HeyMax in the published ST Points denomination. Save the transaction ID and the Smart Traveller account number you entered. If points fail to post, use the three working day window to write HeyMax support with that evidence.
Also read the reversibility rules. Successful conversions are not reversible for buyer remorse. Rate changes can happen without personal notice. That means large conversions for a far off trip carry inventory and rate risk that a last week conversion for a known lounge day does not.
