Heide Park Resort in Soltau, northern Germany, runs its Halloween season from 10 to 31 October 2026, with five late nights when the park stays open into the evening. The discounted online ticket from 29 euros ends on 30 September, according to the park’s official Halloween page.

Buy before the end of September if you already know your date. For rides, layout and planning basics, see our Heide Park guide.

Five Late Nights in October

On Saturday 10, 17 and 24 October, Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October, the park runs its attractions from 12:00 to 21:00. The official page lists those five dates as the days the Halloween party goes on longer.

German theme park site KirmesParkWorld reports that the park itself closes an hour after the rides stop. The park’s evening ticket describes the park as open until 22:00.

On the other October days, the park keeps shorter daytime hours. Check the calendar for your date before you travel, especially if you are driving from Hamburg or Hanover for the evening.

Heide Park sits just off the A7 motorway between Hamburg and Hanover. A 21:00 finish means a drive home in the dark, so book somewhere to stay if you are coming from further away.

What Tickets Cost

Online day tickets for the Halloween season start at 29 euros per person in the current sale, which the park says ends on 30 September. After that, the regular online price starts at 37 euros per person.

An evening Halloween ticket starts at 24 euros, with entry from 17:00. That option suits a late night visit if you mainly want the scare attractions and not the daytime rides.

Prices are listed as “from” amounts, so the price for your date may be higher. Compare the date you want against the calendar before you pay.

Decision Matrix
If you are… Plan for
Sure of your date Buy online by 30 September from 29 euros.
After the scares only An evening ticket from 24 euros on a late night.
Holding a Silver or Merlin pass Reserve a free ticket for 31 October.
Keen on water rides Ride them before about 17:00.
Visiting with young children A daytime visit and the Zauberwald trail.

Rides That Close at Dusk

On late nights, some attractions stop at dusk, from about 17:00. The park lists all water rides and rides near water or not visible in the dark.

That covers Floßfahrt, Wildwasserbahn, Mountain Rafting, Drachengrotte, ToPiLauLa, Käpt’ns Törn, Panoramabahn, Monorail, Heide Park Express and Bounty. If any of those are on your list, ride them in the afternoon.

The main roller coasters are not on that list. The evening is built around the horror mazes and scare zone, each with its own theme, according to the park.

Annual Pass Holders on Halloween Night

Holders of the Silver Pass or the Merlin Abenteuer-Pass need a free reservation ticket to be sure of entry on 31 October 2026, the park says. Reserve it early, since KirmesParkWorld describes the reservations as limited.

KirmesParkWorld also reports that Bronze Pass holders cannot use their pass on some Halloween dates. Check your pass terms before you plan around it.

Without a pass, you do not need a special ticket for the late nights. KirmesParkWorld says a regular day ticket covers the extended evening hours on those dates.

For Families With Younger Children

The park keeps a children’s programme running through the season. Younger visitors can train as junior wizards in the Zauberwald, the enchanted forest area, and join a trick or treat rally.

The horror mazes are the most intense part of the event, so families with small children may prefer a daytime visit on a regular October day. Before Halloween starts, the park’s Late Rides evenings on 26 September and 3 October offer a lighter taste of the park after dark.

Planning Impact

Deadline: the 29 euro online price ends 30 September.

Late nights: 10, 17, 24, 30 and 31 October, attractions until 21:00.

Watch out: water rides close from about 17:00 on those nights.
