Flamingo Land has set its Halloween 2026 program. The North Yorkshire theme park and zoo runs its separately ticketed Stalk in the Park scare event on 9 to 18 October and 24 to 31 October, at £20 per person and for ages 13 and over only, according to the park’s official Halloween page. Daytime family events, fireworks and a closing night drone show run alongside it.

Stalk in the Park is not included with standard day admission. For the park’s layout and rides before you go, our Flamingo Land planning guide covers the site and its main attractions.

At a Glance
  • Stalk in the Park: 9 to 18 and 24 to 31 October; £20 per person; ages 13 and over.
  • After dark: selected rides from 4pm to 8pm; scare mazes from 5:30pm.
  • Trick or Treat Trail: 9 to 31 October, 10am to 4:30pm, £5 per person.
  • Fireworks: 14, 24, 28 and 30 October at 6:45pm.
  • Drone show: 31 October at 6:45pm, in place of fireworks.

Stalk in the Park Tickets and Rules

Stalk in the Park is the park’s evening scare event. The official page says it is strictly for guests aged 13 and over, and that anyone aged 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets cost £20 per person, and UK Theme Park Spy reports that repeat maze visits cost £5 each.

Selected rides operate in the dark from 4pm to 8pm, and the scare mazes and the Halloween Express open from 5:30pm. UK Theme Park Spy names Kumali, Cliff Hanger and Voodoo among the rides running after dark, with two scare mazes and roaming scare actors across the site.

Arriving Earlier in the Day

The official page indicates that the £20 ticket also gives access to the theme park and zoo from 3pm, before the scare mazes open at 5:30pm. That makes an afternoon arrival workable if you want some daylight time with the animals and rides before the event starts.

Check the exact inclusions at checkout, as the park sells day tickets, evening event tickets and short break packages separately, and the terms for each can differ.

Decision Matrix
If you are… Book this
A teen or adult wanting scares Stalk in the Park, £20, on one of the 18 event dates.
A family with young children Daytime visit plus the £5 Trick or Treat Trail.
Coming for the fireworks 14, 24, 28 or 30 October, 6:45pm.
Wanting the drone show 31 October only, 6:45pm.
Arriving late afternoon The £20 ticket from 3pm, then the evening event.

Daytime Halloween for Families

The Trick or Treat Trail runs every day from 9 to 31 October, between 10am and 4:30pm, and costs £5 per person. Children visit five locations around the park to collect sweets. It is a paid add on, not a free activity.

UK Theme Park Spy also reports a new family Halloween show at The Club from 4:30pm to 5:15pm and a fancy dress competition on selected dates at 1:45pm, with a 2027 family ticket as the prize.

Fireworks and the Drone Show

Fireworks are scheduled on 14, 24, 28 and 30 October at 6:45pm, with entertainment from 6:15pm. On 31 October a drone show replaces the fireworks at the same time. Outdoor shows can be affected by weather, so check the park’s channels on the day.

The half term dates in late October are likely to be the busiest, with the fireworks and drone show nights falling in that window. If you want shorter queues for the dark rides, the first weekend of the event, 9 to 11 October, avoids school holidays in most of England.

Getting There and Staying Over

Flamingo Land is at Kirby Misperton near Malton in North Yorkshire, in the Vale of Pickering between York and Scarborough. Most visitors drive; the nearest rail station is Malton, on the line between York and Scarborough, with a taxi or local bus for the last few miles. Evening events end after the last buses on many rural routes, so check return options before a Stalk in the Park night.

The park also sells Halloween short breaks that combine on site accommodation with park entry and entertainment, which avoids a late drive home after the event.

Planning Impact

Separate ticket: Stalk in the Park is £20 and not in day admission.

Age rule: 13 and over; under 18s need an adult.

Big night: drone show on 31 October at 6:45pm.
