It lists participating hotels across Thailand, Japan, the Maldives, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Singapore, the Middle East, and Guam, with sample starting rates that already bake the free nights into a lower average nightly price.

That structure is why the deal is more than a vague percentage off banner. Two paid nights at a Stay 2 Pay 1 hotel effectively buy three room nights, and the same math scales to four, six, or eight paid nights with matching free nights, subject to each property’s published pattern.

What the free-night math actually means
