DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Opens 344 Rooms: Plan Your Stay

DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay opened on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 401 Havelock Road, bringing the DoubleTree brand to Singapore for the first time, according to the hotel’s opening announcement. The 344 room hotel sits along the Singapore River, and more than 200 of its rooms overlook the water.

If you are planning a stay in Singapore and want to be near the river, Chinatown and Tiong Bahru rather than the Marina Bay towers, this is a new option with a Hilton Honors link. Its signature restaurant, SAUS, does not open until November 1, so plan around that if dining in is part of the appeal.

At a Glance
  • Hotel: DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay.
  • Address: 401 Havelock Road.
  • Opened: September 30, 2026.
  • Rooms: 344, from 24 to 50 square meters.
  • Nearest MRT: Havelock station, about a five minute walk.

DoubleTree Singapore Robertson Quay Opens

The hotel was previously Hotel Miramar. EdgeProp reported in November 2025 that asset manager Aravest and Wee Hur Property planned to convert the property with Hilton, with upgrades to rooms, meeting spaces, dining, the lobby, gym and pool deck.

The opening announcement lists 344 rooms and suites between 24 and 50 square meters. The hotel describes itself as the brand’s Singapore debut.

When the deal was signed, Hilton’s Maria Ariizumi, vice president of development for Southeast Asia, said it would “contribute to the vibrancy of Robertson Quay,” and Wee Hur Property chief executive Goh Chengyu said the hotel “will set a new benchmark for hospitality in the area,” according to EdgeProp. Aravest chief executive Moses K Song pointed to Singapore’s appeal as both a business and leisure destination.

Dining, Pool and Hotel Amenities

The hotel has an outdoor pool with daybeds and cabanas, a 24 hour fitness center and a wellness studio, according to the announcement. There are seven meeting rooms for 20 to 70 guests, a Ritual Hub with free activities such as cookie making workshops, and pet friendly areas.

Two places to eat and drink are planned. Brew:33 is a 64 seat café and bar serving specialty coffee, craft beer and light bites. SAUS, an all day restaurant built around more than 40 house made condiments, opens on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

EdgeProp’s earlier report said the conversion plans included a kids’ club and pickleball courts. The opening announcement does not mention those, so ask the hotel directly if they matter for your trip.

Getting Around From Robertson Quay

The hotel says Havelock MRT station is about a five minute walk away. EdgeProp noted that the station is on the Thomson East Coast Line. From the hotel you can walk to Robertson Quay, Chinatown, Tiong Bahru and Clarke Quay, and the announcement says the Central Business District, Orchard Road and Sentosa are easy to reach.

Robertson Quay sits at the upstream end of the Singapore River’s main stretch of quays, with riverside walking paths that lead toward Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. EdgeProp also listed Chinatown, Bugis, Arab Street and Fort Canning Park as nearby areas, which makes the hotel a practical base for a first visit that mixes food, history and shopping. If you want to explore museums while you are in town, our report on the Singapore History Gallery reopening covers another stop to add.

Booking Your Stay

More than 200 of the 344 rooms face the river, according to the announcement, so a river view is worth requesting when you book if it matters to you. Rooms range from 24 to 50 square meters, so check the room type carefully if you are traveling as a family or need more space for a longer stay.

The announcement does not list nightly rates. If you book through Hilton’s own channels, the stay should earn Hilton Honors points and count toward status, so check prices there as well as on other sites. As with any newly opened hotel, read recent reviews as they appear and confirm which facilities are open for your dates, especially before SAUS opens on November 1.
