Dollywood NightFlight Resort Stays Bookable Through October 31

Dollywood Parks and Resorts is still selling NightFlight Expedition stay packages at HeartSong Lodge and Resort and DreamMore Resort and Spa for arrivals through October 31, 2026, according to the company’s August 10 announcement republished by the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism. The packages pair in-room NightFlight decor with park tickets, and a higher VIP version adds a guided tour that includes the new indoor coaster.

If you are building a Pigeon Forge trip around NightFlight Expedition, the decision is whether a themed resort package is worth booking before October 31 stay dates sell out, or whether a regular HeartSong or DreamMore reservation plus separate Dollywood tickets is enough. Book on Dollywood’s resorts site. Packages remain subject to availability.

Two NightFlight Packages Cover Tickets and In-Room Decor

Dollywood described two exclusive room packages in that August 10 release. The NightFlight Expedition Experience package includes in-room NightFlight Expedition decor, a merchandise bundle, baked goods, and two one-day Dollywood admission tickets. The NightFlight Expedition VIP Experience package includes those same in-room extras, merchandise, and baked goods, plus two complimentary one-day tickets and a VIP tour of Dollywood for two people that includes a ride on NightFlight Expedition.

The press notice does not publish a package price. Treat the offer as a bundled stay, not as a disclosed discount off rack rate, until the reservation total appears in the booking path. Confirm deposit and cancellation rules in your own reservation before you pay.

NightFlight Expedition itself opened to the public on August 19, 2026, as Dollywood’s largest single attraction investment. Deep Arrival’s earlier report on the August 19 NightFlight opening covered the ride date. This package story is the lodging layer around that ride, not a second opening announcement.

HeartSong Lodge and DreamMore Split the Stay Decision

Both hotels sit next to Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country, and both are included in the NightFlight stay offer. They are not interchangeable if you care about spa access, room type, or how you move between the resort and the park. DreamMore is the older of the two, with a spa that the company says is offering NightFlight-themed nail polish during the promotion. HeartSong is the newer mountain-lodge property.

The Pigeon Forge release says NightFlight theming at both hotels starts at the ticket desk, where guests follow glowing roots from the ride story onto the resorts’ exclusive trolley to the park. That trolley is a resort privilege, not a public city bus, and it is one reason a package stay can be simpler than an off-site hotel plus a rental car for park days.

For travelers flying in, the usual gateway remains McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville. Use our closest airport to Dollywood guide for drive time and transfer options before you lock a late-night arrival.

A regular HeartSong or DreamMore stay already includes door-to-door park transportation and TimeSaver Passes on many reservations. The NightFlight packages add ticketed extras on top of that base. If you already hold season passes or unused dated tickets, the two included one-day admissions may be redundant. In that case a standard room plus the free themed public spaces may be the cleaner buy, as long as you still want the in-room decor bundle.

Theming Starts at the Ticket Desk, Not Only in the Room

The company is not opening a new hotel. It is wrapping existing HeartSong and DreamMore rooms and public areas in NightFlight story points. Besides in-room decor, Dollywood listed immersive photo spots, NightFlight-inspired Camp DW activities, and an in-room video message from ride characters Cora and Jasper. Those extras matter if you are traveling with children who already know the ride story. They matter less if your group will be in the park from open to close.

Food and drink theming is limited and named. The Lounge at DreamMore and High Note at HeartSong are serving NightFlight-themed cocktails, with mocktail versions of the same drinks. Younger guests can get a NightFlight-inspired grab-and-go breakfast with a souvenir cup. That is a breakfast add-on, not a character meal, and it should not be confused with a park dining reservation.

Independent travel writer coverage published on Yahoo also described the same two hotels, the same October 31 end date, and the same ticket-plus-decor package structure. That reporting matches the August 10 Dollywood text on the hotels, stay window, and VIP tour. It does not add a public price. Use it as confirmation, not as a second rate sheet.

October 31 Stay Dates Overlap Harvest Festival

The stay window ends October 31, which is also the closing day of Dollywood’s Harvest Festival in the Yahoo account of the park’s fall calendar. Harvest Festival is scheduled to run September 14 through October 31, with Smoky Mountain Christmas listed as starting November 6. If those festival dates hold, a NightFlight package stay in late September or October is a fall-festival trip, not a summer-hours trip.

Dollywood had extended park hours to 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from August 16 through September 13 to give guests more time on the new ride, according to that same independent report. September 13 is the last day of that extended clock. Anyone arriving from September 14 onward should check current Dollywood park hours rather than assuming the 8 p.m. close continues. Festival nights and regular fall nights are not the same operating plan.

NightFlight Expedition is an indoor, climate-controlled attraction in Wildwood Grove, so rain is not the booking risk. Crowd and package inventory are. The ride is the park’s newest major draw. A package that includes tickets and a VIP tour with a reserved ride can be the difference between a planned NightFlight day and a long standby. The Experience package does not promise a skip-the-line ride. Only the VIP tour language includes a ride on NightFlight Expedition.

Availability, Not a New Hotel, Is the Real Limit

Nothing in the official notice guarantees a room type, a connecting suite, or a specific view. “Subject to availability” is doing real work here: popular October weekends, including Harvest Festival peaks, can exhaust the decorated rooms even if the hotels still have standard inventory. If the booking path only offers a regular rate, you do not have the package. Do not assume the front desk can add the decor bundle at check-in.

The VIP tour is the scarce piece. It is limited to two people in the published description, which is a problem for a family of four. A four-person party may need two VIP packages, a mix of VIP and Experience, or a regular stay plus a separately purchased tour if Dollywood still sells that tour on its own. The August 10 notice does not say the VIP tour is sold separately during this window. Ask before you split rooms.

The Pigeon Forge reprint of the original release does not list a blackout calendar or a minimum-night rule. Read the reservation recap for minimum nights, deposit, and cancellation, then compare that total with a standard HeartSong or DreamMore stay plus two dated tickets bought on their own.

Decision Matrix
If you… What to do
Need park tickets and want the in-room NightFlight extras Book the Experience package for HeartSong or DreamMore for stay dates through October 31, 2026, while inventory lasts.
Want a guided park tour and a planned NightFlight ride for two Choose the VIP Experience package and confirm the tour is for two guests only before you add extra adults.
Already have tickets or a season pass Price a regular HeartSong or DreamMore stay. The included one-day tickets may be wasted.
Cannot find package inventory for your dates Book a standard resort room if you still want the trolley, then buy tickets separately. Do not expect the decor bundle at check-in.
Planning Impact

October 31, 2026 is the last published stay date. After that night the NightFlight room packages end as described in the August 10 Dollywood notice. Book earlier weekends first if Harvest Festival crowds matter to you.

September 14 is the Harvest Festival start in independent fall-calendar reporting. A stay from that date forward is a festival trip. Check that day’s park hours before you assume the summer 8 p.m. close still applies.

Availability is the live gate, not a second opening date. If the booking path does not show the NightFlight package extras, you have a standard room only.

Frequently Asked

Can you still book Dollywood NightFlight hotel packages?

Yes. Dollywood said the packages are available for stay dates August 21 through October 31, 2026, at HeartSong Lodge and DreamMore Resort, subject to availability.

Which Dollywood hotels have NightFlight Expedition rooms?

HeartSong Lodge and Resort and DreamMore Resort and Spa. The offer is themed decor and activities in existing hotels, not a newly built NightFlight hotel.

Do the packages include Dollywood tickets?

Yes. Both published packages include two one-day Dollywood admission tickets. The VIP version also includes a two-person VIP tour with a NightFlight Expedition ride.

Is NightFlight Expedition still a separate park ticket?

No extra ride ticket is listed. NightFlight is a park attraction. You still need valid Dollywood admission, which the packages supply for two guests, plus current operating hours on your visit day.
