Disneyland Paris will run Disney Enchanted Christmas from November 7, 2026, to January 6, 2027. The official September 8 announcement says World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World will host its first Christmas, while Disneyland Park keeps its established holiday program and adds new moments.
The additions give families more to weigh when choosing one park or visiting both. Check the Disneyland Paris height requirements when combining seasonal shows with rides, especially when a child’s preferred attraction will determine which park takes priority.
A one-day visit needs a clear priority because the resort is promoting separate experiences in separate gates. The Disney Parks Blog overview details the additions in each park, including two distinct New Year’s Eve programs on December 31.
- Season: Disney Enchanted Christmas runs November 7, 2026 to January 6, 2027.
- New in World of Frozen: Nordic decorations, The Arendelle carolers and Ring in the season with Anna and Elsa.
- New at Disneyland Park: Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus get a new Castle Stage musical celebration, while Santa moves to Disney Clothiers.
- Santa window: Looopings reports the new meeting location operates November 14 through December 25; verify the date-specific program before traveling.
- New Year’s Eve: Both parks hold separate celebrations; choose a preferred finale and check the final event timetable.
The 2026 season changes the park split
The November 7 through January 6 season brings the first Christmas celebration to World of Frozen inside the reimagined Disney Adventure World. The new land’s Nordic decorations and musical moments give Frozen fans a seasonal reason to spend time there, beyond its permanent attractions.
Disneyland Park remains the home of the familiar Main Street atmosphere, its 24-meter Christmas tree and Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade. Families returning for those traditions can keep them central to the trip while deciding whether the new Frozen entertainment justifies additional time in the second park.
World of Frozen adds daytime experiences
At World of Frozen, the village of Arendelle will be dressed with Nordic-inspired Christmas decoration and a tree at the entrance, with the North Mountain and surrounding Scandinavian-style landscape forming the setting. The official description places the seasonal activity throughout the day.
The Arendelle carolers will be an approximately 15-minute musical interlude led by Olaf with a Christmas choir before Anna and Elsa join the moment. It is scheduled several times during the day, but the announcement does not publish fixed clock times, so visitors should use the Disneyland Paris app and in-park information rather than build a touring plan around an assumed start time.
A second daytime moment, Ring in the season with Anna and Elsa, will last about seven minutes and be presented several times daily, including in the late afternoon. The same official notice warns that Disney cannot guarantee a particular character’s presence, which makes the app and the posted program more useful than treating every named character as a guaranteed meet or show appearance.
Disneyland Park keeps the main traditions
Disneyland Park will add a new musical celebration in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle featuring Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus, with original Christmas songs. The park also retains Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, whose floats and characters return alongside the 24-meter Christmas tree on Main Street, giving visitors a familiar anchor even while World of Frozen receives the most prominent expansion.
Santa Claus will have a new home inside Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A., replacing the previous Discoveryland meeting location. Looopings reported on September 9 that Santa is expected at the new spot from November 14 through December 25.
That reported window starts a week after the resort’s Christmas season begins, an important difference for families booking specifically to meet Santa. Looopings places Disney Clothiers on the right side of Main Street, between Main Street Motors and Boardwalk Candy Palace, so repeat visitors should update their meeting location as well as checking the dates.
Additional returning entertainment includes Let’s Sing Christmas! at Videopolis Theatre. The material also places Jack Skellington at Critter Corral and says visitors will need a virtual queue available primarily through the mobile app, subject to availability; that queue note applies to Jack’s appearance, not automatically to every character or to Santa in Disney Clothiers.
December 31 requires a gate choice
Each Disney park will hold its own New Year’s Eve Party on December 31, with character-led celebrations and a nighttime finale. The official announcement says the special entertainment is included in the price of admission without an extra entertainment charge, but the parks remain separate gates with their own appropriate admission requirements, so one park entry should not be treated as permission to enter both.
At Disney Adventure World, the finale will combine drones and fireworks above World of Frozen, with the drone display subject to weather conditions. Disneyland Park will instead offer DJ parties and a fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle at midnight.
Disney has not supplied a matching exact finale time for Disney Adventure World in this announcement. Choose the celebration you most want to attend, then check the complete event timetable rather than assuming you can fit both nighttime shows into the evening.
How to plan a one or two day visit
For one day, prioritize Disney Adventure World if Arendelle’s first Christmas, the two daytime musical moments or World of Frozen itself is the main reason for the visit. Choose Disneyland Park if Santa, the Main Street tree, Mickey’s parade or the new Minnie and Mrs. Claus celebration matters more.
For two days, giving each gate a dedicated day leaves room to work around the current show listings in the app. Check the Disneyland Paris park hours page and the resort’s date-specific information before fixing meal, ride and parade times, because the announcement supplies durations and broad frequency rather than a complete touring timetable.
If meeting Santa is the non-negotiable item, plan around the reported November 14 to December 25 window and the Disney Clothiers location, then confirm it before departure. For a trip after Christmas, the resort’s holiday season continues through January 6, but Santa’s reported appearance window does not extend beyond December 25.
| If your priority is… | Plan around… |
|---|---|
| World of Frozen’s first Christmas | Disney Adventure World, with time for The Arendelle carolers and Ring in the season with Anna and Elsa. |
| Santa and classic Disneyland Paris Christmas | Disneyland Park, Disney Clothiers, the Main Street tree and Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade. |
| A one-day visit | Pick one gate before building the ride and show plan; do not assume both parks fit comfortably. |
| December 31 fireworks | Choose Disney Adventure World for drones above World of Frozen or Disneyland Park for the castle fireworks. |
| A specific character or show time | Check the app and in-park listings because fixed times and guaranteed character appearances are not published here. |
One day: Choose the gate that matches the family’s strongest seasonal priority before adding rides and meals.
Two days: Split the parks, then use the app and current park-hours information to place the short daytime shows and parade.
Santa or New Year’s Eve: Treat the reported November 14 to December 25 Santa window and the December 31 park choice as date-specific decisions, not resort-wide guarantees.
