Condor Adds Athens, Florence and Stockholm From Frankfurt in Spring 2027

Condor will add Athens, Florence and Stockholm to its Frankfurt network in spring 2027, taking its European city list to 16 destinations. Athens starts on April 28, 2027 with a daily flight, Florence on May 6 with two flights a day, and Stockholm Arlanda on May 13, also twice daily. The Athens and Florence routes are seasonal; Stockholm is planned to run all year, according to the German leisure airline’s announcement on September 23.

For US travelers, the routes matter as connections. Condor flies to a long list of North American cities from Frankfurt and plans to add Chicago O’Hare next May, so the new city flights create one-stop options from the United States to Greece, Tuscany and Sweden on a single airline. Condor says it times its schedules at Frankfurt for short connections between its long-haul and European flights.

Three New Frankfurt Routes From April 28 to May 13

Condor’s own announcement, published September 23, gives the start dates and frequencies: Athens daily from April 28, Florence twice daily from May 6, and Stockholm Arlanda twice daily from May 13, with Stockholm operating year-round. Chief commercial officer Pierre Dominique Prümm described the expansion as a strategic investment in developing the Frankfurt hub. The release positions the city network as a way to connect European travelers with Condor’s long-haul flights to North America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.

aeroTELEGRAPH, the German aviation news site, reported the routes the same morning and added context. It notes that the expansion comes shortly after Condor removed Dubai from its winter programme, and that the European city flights have served as feeders for its long-haul network since Lufthansa ended the connecting-traffic arrangement between the two airlines in late 2024. It also points to the cost pressures the airline has been under.

Neither source gives fares, the aircraft for each route or the date tickets go on sale. Check Condor’s booking site for your dates before building a trip around a specific connection. Until the flights load, treat the start dates as the only firm planning detail, and keep flexible bookings for anything that depends on a tight connection at Frankfurt. One-Stop Options From the United States

Condor has been adding ways for Americans to reach Frankfurt. Booking Tips for Spring 2027

Early-season dates in late April and May are often good value in southern Europe, before the summer peak. If you are planning Greece or Tuscany for spring 2027, watch for the routes to open for sale and compare them with other one-stop options.
