Celebrity Solstice’s 110 Night Grand Voyage Starts This Weekend

Celebrity Solstice at sea in November 2024

Celebrity Solstice is five days from beginning one of the most complicated products in Celebrity Cruises’ current schedule: a chain of voyages that can run for 110 consecutive nights from Vancouver to Hong Kong. The first segment leaves Vancouver on September 13, 2026, beginning with a seven night Alaska loop.

Travelers can book individual segments or ask Celebrity’s dedicated Grand Voyage desk to connect the full sequence. That difference matters because the company prices each sailing separately and only tries to keep a guest in the same stateroom based on availability. Our Celebrity Solstice guide provides the ship context before making a last minute segment decision.

At a Glance
  • First departure: September 13, 2026, from Vancouver.
  • Maximum sequence: 110 nights with 65 days ashore.
  • Reach: Celebrity’s detailed FAQ says 55 unique destinations in 15 countries and eight overnight stays.
  • Booking structure: Nine consecutive cruises, each priced separately.
  • Immediate choice: Join one available segment or ask the Grand Voyage desk to link multiple sailings.

The 110 Nights Are a Chain of Separate Cruises

The official Grand Voyage page lists nine component sailings. They begin with Alaska, then move through Hawaii, Tahiti and Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia and Vietnam before the sequence finishes in Hong Kong.

This is important for anyone seeing the 110 night headline and assuming there is one all inclusive world cruise contract. Celebrity says every sailing is priced individually. Guests can book a single itinerary online in the usual way, while people seeking the complete sequence are directed to a dedicated desk.

The structure provides flexibility. A traveler who cannot leave for more than three months can choose a seven, nine, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16 or 18 night component. It also creates more details to reconcile, including promotions, deposits, travel protection and cabin assignments for every reservation.

The full run is a Pacific Grand Voyage rather than a global circumnavigation. Celebrity describes travel across all four hemispheres, but the published path moves from Alaska and the South Pacific toward Asia. Travelers should compare the actual component itineraries instead of relying on broad world travel language.

The First Segment Leaves Vancouver September 13

The opening cruise is a seven night roundtrip from Vancouver with Alaska calls. Travel Weekly’s current schedule lists the September 13 departure, and Vancouver port schedules also show Solstice in port that day.

The ship returns to Vancouver before the nine night Hawaii segment begins. From there, the linked cruises continue west. Travelers considering only the Alaska portion should book and prepare for it as a normal seven night cruise rather than assuming later Grand Voyage benefits or destinations are included.

Anyone joining this close to departure needs more than cabin availability. Passports, entry rules, flight timing, port transfers and Celebrity’s check in deadline all need to clear. A displayed cabin or third party price does not prove that the traveler can complete the required documents before sailing.

For later segments, the timing pressure is lower, but the endpoint changes. A Hawaii or South Pacific segment may start and finish in different cities. Price the open jaw flights and any hotel nights before choosing a cruise based only on its onboard rate.

The Destination Count Needs Careful Reading

Celebrity’s promotional header says more than 58 destinations, while its detailed FAQ says 55 unique destinations in 15 countries. The FAQ also states 65 days ashore and eight overnight stays. Those figures can coexist if the broader marketing count treats repeated or scenic destinations differently, but the source does not reconcile the methods.

Deep Arrival is therefore using the 55 unique destination count when describing the itinerary structure and retaining the 58 figure only as Celebrity’s headline language. Neither count should replace the port list on an individual reservation.

Named overnight destinations include Auckland, Phuket and Halong Bay. An overnight can create more evening time than an ordinary call, but it does not promise a particular excursion or unrestricted late return. Guests should check the exact all aboard time and local transportation for their segment.

The same caution applies to scenic cruising and gateway ports. A reference to a major destination may involve a berth outside the city, while a glacier day may not involve going ashore. Count the experiences that matter to you rather than treating every label as an equivalent full day visit.

A Same Cabin Request Is Not a Guarantee

Celebrity says its team will do its best to secure the same stateroom for a guest’s entire time aboard, subject to available inventory. That qualifier matters. The current Costco Travel listing likewise tells customers to call if they want the same cabin across multiple segments.

If the cabin changes, Celebrity’s FAQ says guests should pack on the final night of the first cruise and arrange for housekeeping to move their luggage. Even passengers keeping the same room must leave the ship during the transition because of customs procedures.

A linked sequence therefore does not mean 110 uninterrupted days without cruise endings. Each turnaround remains a formal transition. Travelers with mobility needs, medication storage requirements or large amounts of luggage should ask how every change day will work before accepting different cabins.

The sequence also does not have one special full voyage fare. Celebrity says current brand promotions can apply to individual sailings, and its stated consecutive cruise saving is up to $100 per sailing. Terms can vary, so the total should be built from written prices rather than multiplying one segment rate.

Celebrity also says guests may select either its All Included option or a No Perks price on different legs, although the line recommends keeping one price point for a more consistent experience. That flexibility can change the apparent cost of a linked trip. Compare drinks, internet and any bonus savings segment by segment, then confirm which benefits reset at each turnaround. Keep the resulting fare breakdown with the reservation records.

Late Buyers Should Separate Availability From Feasibility

A third party page showing a September 13 fare is evidence that a sales path exists, not a promise that every category is open. Inventory can change quickly. Call Celebrity or a trusted adviser for the exact cabin, total and payment deadline before arranging a flight.

The complete voyage reaches multiple countries with different entry requirements. A passport valid for the first Alaska loop may not settle visas or health documentation for later Asian segments. Verify the rules for the traveler’s nationality and exact ports through official government sources.

Travel protection deserves special attention because the financial exposure grows with every linked sailing and flight. Ask whether one policy covers the whole sequence, whether interruption between reservations is treated as one trip and what happens if one segment changes.

Planning Impact

The departure is imminent. The September 13 Alaska segment requires immediate inventory and document checks.

The 110 night option is modular. Nine separately priced cruises create flexibility and additional booking work.

Cabin continuity is conditional. Get every linked reservation and room request documented before purchase.
