Celebrity Cruises is doubling Captain’s Club Club Points on new bookings made September 8 to 21, 2026, according to the line’s special offers terms. The bonus covers all Caribbean sailings departing October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, and Celebrity Infinity sailings departing November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Transatlantic and transpacific itineraries are excluded.
The useful next step is to decide whether one of those sailings is worth booking before the September 21 cutoff, because extra points post only after you sail and only if the member number is on the reservation. If you are still choosing a line for a winter Caribbean trip, start with Deep Arrival’s Celebrity versus Royal Caribbean comparison before you put a deposit down.
- Book by: September 21, 2026, for new individual and named group bookings.
- Caribbean window: sailings departing October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027.
- Infinity window: sailings departing November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
- Cap: two qualifying cruises per Captain’s Club member number.
- Existing bookings: not eligible; upgrades including MoveUp add no extra points.
The September 21 Booking Clock
Celebrity’s special offers page currently advertises the Double Points offer as live for Captain’s Club members, and it invites non-members to join during the window. Royal Caribbean Blog reported the same booking dates on September 8, 2026, matching the line’s published terms: new cruises booked September 8 to 21 qualify, and the extra Club Points post after the sailing is completed.
You still earn the ordinary per-night rate shown on the Captain’s Club program page. The promotion doubles that rate for up to two eligible cruises. Club Points are applied within 30 days after the offer cruise sails, provided the booking is paid in full. If you miss September 21, the next sailing earns the standard rate only.
Join is free, and a valid Captain’s Club number must sit on the reservation. Celebrity’s terms say new individual and named group bookings qualify. That is the mechanical gate. Without the number on the booking, the doubled rate does not attach, even if you join later.
Eligible Caribbean and Infinity Sailings
The Caribbean side is the broadest part of the offer. Celebrity’s terms apply the double rate to all Caribbean sailings departing October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027. That is the core winter-to-spring season from Florida and other U.S. gateways, not a handful of featured ships. Use Deep Arrival’s Eastern versus Western Caribbean comparison if the remaining question is itinerary shape rather than loyalty math.
Europe is narrower. Only Celebrity Infinity sailings departing November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, qualify, and transatlantic and transpacific sailings are carved out even when they touch those dates. Do not assume a Mediterranean or repositioning cruise on another ship is included. Check the ship name and the departure date against those two windows before you count on double points.
Caribbean timing still matters for weather and crowds, even when the loyalty math is the reason you book now. Deep Arrival’s best time for a Caribbean cruise guide is the planning page for that part of the decision. The Double Points clock only answers when the booking has to be in the system, not which week at sea will feel best.
How Club Points Double by Stateroom
Celebrity publishes ocean-cruise Club Points by stateroom category on the Captain’s Club page: Inside and Ocean View earn 2 points per night, Veranda and Infinite Veranda earn 3, Concierge Class and AquaClass earn 5, and the Sky Suite family earns 8. Celebrity, Signature, and Royal Suites earn 12. Edge Villa, Penthouse, and Reflection Suite earn 18. Iconic Suite earns 24.
On a seven-night Veranda sailing, the standard earn is 21 Club Points. Double Points makes that 42, which is the example Royal Caribbean Blog used and which matches Celebrity’s published per-night table. A seven-night Iconic Suite sailing at 24 points per night is 168 at the standard rate and 336 when doubled. Those numbers are the reason a booking made this week can move a member toward Select, Elite, or Elite Plus faster than a later reservation.
Solo travelers paying full fare receive one additional set of Club Points on top of the double rate, for a total of 3 times the ordinary earn on the offer cruise. That solo bonus is already a standing Captain’s Club rule. The promotion stacks on it rather than replacing it. The extra set still requires a full-fare solo booking, not a reduced single rate.
Existing Bookings, Upgrades, and the Two-Cruise Cap
The offer does not attach to a reservation you already hold. Royal Caribbean Blog reported that existing bookings cannot be converted, and Celebrity’s terms limit the bonus to new bookings made in the offer period. Canceling and rebooking to chase the points is a separate commercial decision with deposit risk. The terms do not create a free rewrite path.
Points are based on the original stateroom rate category paid. Celebrity says any upgrade, including MoveUp, does not qualify for additional points. If you bid up after booking, the doubled earn stays tied to the category you paid, not the cabin you later occupy. That is easy to miss if you treat MoveUp as a loyalty accelerator.
Each Captain’s Club number can redeem the offer on up to two offer cruises booked in the window. If you book more than two qualifying sailings, Celebrity applies Double Points to the two with the earliest departure dates. Later extra bookings earn the standard rate. The cap is per member number, not per household, so a second sailor needs their own number on their own qualifying bookings.
Points Choice Transfers Forfeit the Bonus
Royal Caribbean Group’s Points Choice program otherwise lets members apply points from a Celebrity sailing to Crown and Anchor or Venetian Society. Celebrity’s Double Points terms close that door for this promotion. Points awarded with the Double Points offer are ineligible for Points Choice and are forfeited if you submit a points transfer request.
That is the trap for anyone who sails Celebrity once and banks status on Royal Caribbean. Keep the doubled Club Points in Captain’s Club, or lose the promotional extra. Royal Caribbean Blog quoted the same restriction from Celebrity’s site. Deep Arrival’s earlier report on Captain’s Club adding Double and Triple Zenith tiers is the chronology page for how those points now map to the highest Celebrity tiers.
Celebrity lists the offer as combinable with named brand sales, tactical discounts, member fares, shareholder benefits, and future cruise certificates redeemed during the offer period. It is not combinable with unspecified other promotions and is excluded from the Best Price Guarantee. Fare-sale booking windows can be shorter than September 21, so confirm the sale dates on the same special offers page rather than assuming every advertised saving lasts through the points deadline.
| If you… | What to do |
|---|---|
| Already hold a Celebrity booking | Do not expect a retroactive add-on. The terms cover new bookings made September 8 to 21, 2026, only. |
| Want a Caribbean sailing this winter or spring | Book by September 21 for a departure from October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, and put your Captain’s Club number on the reservation. |
| Want Celebrity Infinity in Europe | Limit the search to Infinity departures from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, and skip transatlantic dates. |
| Sail solo at full fare | Count on 3 times the ordinary Club Points on one qualifying cruise, still subject to the two-cruise cap. |
| Plan to move points to Royal Caribbean | Do not submit a Points Choice transfer. The promotional extra is forfeited if you do. |
September 21, 2026, is the booking gate. New individual and named group reservations must be in the system by that date, with a Captain’s Club number on the booking, or the doubled earn rate does not attach.
October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, is the Caribbean sailing window. Book those departures now if the extra Club Points are the reason you are locking a winter or spring cruise.
Thirty days after you sail is the posting gate. Club Points land only after the offer cruise is completed and paid in full, based on the original stateroom category, not a later upgrade.
Does Celebrity double Club Points on cruises I already booked?
No. Celebrity’s terms limit the Double Points offer to new individual and named group bookings made September 8 to 21, 2026. Royal Caribbean Blog reported that existing reservations cannot be converted.
Which Celebrity sailings qualify for double Club Points?
All Caribbean sailings departing October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, and Celebrity Infinity sailings departing November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Transatlantic and transpacific sailings are excluded.
Can I transfer double Club Points to Royal Caribbean?
No. Celebrity says points awarded with this offer are ineligible for Points Choice and are forfeited if you submit a points transfer request.
How many cruises can earn double Club Points?
Up to two offer cruises per Captain’s Club member number. If you book more than two, Celebrity applies the bonus to the two with the earliest departure dates.
