Camp Snoopy can run while a major coaster sits. That is still a usable family day if the kids were the reason you came.
Dining locations can close early on a shoulder date. Eat when the app shows the stand open rather than planning a late dinner in the park.
Weather still cancels outdoor rides. An extra operating day is not a rain guarantee.
