Breeze Pauses Four Routes in September. Check Your Flight

Breeze Airways has temporarily removed four nonstop routes from its September schedule and reduced two others, creating a simple but urgent task for affected travelers: open the reservation now and confirm that the flight still exists on the booked date.

The changes are concentrated between September 2 and October 2. They affect Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Salisbury, Scranton, Albany, Portsmouth, Akron-Canton, and Madison. A separate Charleston to Cancun flight on September 5 was canceled, with that international route scheduled to return December 19.

Which Breeze routes are suspended

The schedule changes were identified in an August 19 analysis by AeroRoutes, which tracks airline timetable updates. Fort Lauderdale to Salisbury and Fort Lauderdale to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton are both removed from September 2 through October 2. Each normally operates twice weekly in the schedule cited.

Fort Myers to Albany is also suspended from September 2 through October 2, removing another twice-weekly link. Orlando to Portsmouth pauses from September 5 into early October. The AeroRoutes entry shows October 2, 2025 for the end date, an apparent year typo in a page otherwise describing September 2026 changes, so travelers should verify the actual return date directly with Breeze rather than relying on that row alone.

Breeze still lists all of the cities on its official destinations page. A city remaining in the network does not mean every city pair operates every week. The booking engine for the exact origin, destination, and date is the traveler-facing source that matters.

Which Breeze routes have fewer flights

Fort Lauderdale to Akron-Canton is reduced from twice weekly to once weekly between September 5 and October 2. Orlando to Madison drops from three weekly flights to two between September 6 and September 28.
