Anantara has opened reservations for its new safari camp on the Kafue River in Zambia, turning a previously announced project into a bookable stay.

Minor Hotels confirmed the reservation launch on July 13, 2026, with 13 accommodations, guided wildlife activities, and an opening offer now presented through the brand’s direct booking site.

The practical change is that travelers can now compare dates and terms rather than simply watch for a future opening.

The camp is a small, remote product inside Kafue National Park, so the room category, air or road transfer, included activities, and total tax need to be evaluated together.

Reservations Are Now Open for 13 Accommodations

Minor Hotels’ July 13 reservation announcement identifies the camp as Anantara’s first tented safari property. Its inventory consists of nine Pool and Bush Villas, three Horizon Terrace Suites, and one Presidential Villa.

The small count matters because the categories are not interchangeable. Pool and Bush Villas include a private plunge pool and an indoor spa room.

The Horizon Terrace Suites rise 14.3 meters above the ground and add glass lift access plus outdoor star beds. The 400 square meter Presidential Villa has river views, a dedicated spa room, and private boat access.

The design still gives travelers useful points to verify. Solar power may affect when high demand equipment can run, and purified drinking water can reduce the need for disposable bottles.
