Where to Stay in Park City
Named hotels and resorts, ranked by ski access first: Canyons Village slopeside, Deer Valley premium, in town evenings, then value space.
Start here. Book Hyatt Centric Park City for ski in ski out Canyons Village mornings, with Pendry steps away when village energy matters. Montage Deer Valley owns the Deer Valley premium lane and Waldorf Astoria rides the Frostwood Gondola. Hotel Park City covers in town full service. Condo hotels cover value space when you accept shuttles.

The bases, decoded
Park City is three trips wearing one name. Canyons Village is the modern slopeside machine, Old Town is evenings and history with a lift, and Deer Valley is the composed skiers only product. Your hotel picks the trip before your lift ticket does.
Free transit changes the math. The bus network genuinely covers the bases, which means a cheaper bed plus transit often beats a mid tier walk to lift claim. What transit cannot buy is the morning gondola line skip that slopeside lodging gives.
Watch the calendar traps: Sundance converts town into festival pricing in late January, and Presidents week ties the holiday peaks. Late March corn snow weeks are the sleeper, with a full mountain, softer rates, and patio apres.

Named hotels and resorts to book
These are prescriptive properties. Confirm lift access and shuttle details for your exact ticket product.
Hyatt Centric Park City
Ski in ski out at Canyons Village beside the Sunrise lift, with ski valet, a pool deck built for apres, and rooms sized like a modern resort rather than a historic squeeze. It is the cleanest first timer answer on this list: wake, gear up downstairs, ski. Winter weekends and holiday weeks sell far ahead; shoulder weeks can surprise on value.
Pendry Park City
The design hotel in the Canyons Village core, steps from the gondola plaza, with the strongest bar and restaurant energy in this ranking. Rooms lean sleek over cozy. Book it when evenings matter as much as vertical; apres here means a scene, not a fireplace. First chair still works, the plaza is right outside.
Montage Deer Valley
The Deer Valley flagship at Empire Pass: true ski in ski out, a spa that anchors rest days, and the composed, skiers only Deer Valley product at the door. It is the most expensive sleep here and the least interchangeable. Book Montage when Deer Valley is the point; it is the wrong buy for a Park City Mountain ticket week.
Waldorf Astoria Park City
Luxury lodge on the Frostwood Gondola, quieter than the village core by design. You ride the gondola to the Canyons side rather than clicking in at the door, a fair trade for calm evenings and a standout spa. Strong for couples mixing ski days with rest days. Confirm gondola operating dates for early and late season stays.
Hotel Park City, Autograph Collection
An Autograph Collection lodge on the golf course with fireplace suites and a proper full service spine. Nothing about it is slopeside; everything about it is comfortable, and free city transit plus the hotel shuttle cover the lifts. Pick it for Main Street dinners and a car light trip where the hotel is part of the vacation.
Quinn’s Junction condo hotels
The value space play out by Quinn’s Junction: condo style units with real bedrooms and kitchens at rates the resort cores cannot touch. The cost is transfer friction; you will drive or ride the bus to every lift. Book it for longer family stays where space and groceries beat walkability, and plan the winter car reality.
