Property context

The hotel lobby is not a conference registration desk

The pictured space is Fontainebleau Las Vegas’s hotel lobby. Confirm your event’s badge collection point separately.

Find the event, not just the building

The official Fontainebleau map offers selectable floor views and a directory of meeting spaces. A room name on that map helps with orientation, but it does not tell you which room your conference booked. Keep the organizer’s latest program available and follow live signs if a printed map or older brochure differs.

SmarterVegas also offers a secondary Fontainebleau property map with a full-size map link. Use it as a second visual reference, not as the authority for current room assignments. Las Vegas Then and Now’s Gold Room visit review includes lobby and casino views that help set expectations for the resort’s public interior, but it is not a conference directory.

Hotel check-in, Wi-Fi and work needs

Fontainebleau’s July 2026 meeting planner guide places the hotel front desk in the main lobby on the casino level, reached from the porte-cochere. Hotel guests should have government photo ID and a valid credit card ready. Published hotel check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m.; mobile check-in opens 24 hours before arrival. Checked-out guests may store luggage at the main-lobby Bell Desk.

Standard complimentary Wi-Fi reaches resort and meeting spaces and is described as suitable for basic browsing and email. Higher-capacity service for registration, presentations, streaming, uploads and event apps is arranged through Encore. Ask the event organizer what connectivity is available before relying on the standard network for a presentation.

The FedEx Business Center is on Conference Level 4 and handles printing and shipping. Published hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It closes on observed holidays, and hours can change. Call 702-789-3027 to confirm. The venue’s listed business service is not a promise of general coworking desk access.

Access and personal items

The venue planner guide says accessible sleeping rooms and wheelchairs are available, and TDD kits can be requested in advance through the Event Manager. It directs facility-specific questions to the assigned Event Manager or Group Reservations Manager. Ask your event contact about the actual step-free route, seating and entrance for your meeting rather than inferring those details from a general resort map.

Do not apply an entertainment venue’s bag rule automatically to a conference. Fontainebleau’s 8.5 by 11 inch restriction appears in its BleauLive Theater FAQ. For meeting-room bags, follow the event organizer’s current instructions.

Put the city in context

For broader venue and work-trip decisions, use the Las Vegas business travel guide. The LAS airport to Strip distance guide helps frame airport planning without promising a drive time, while things to do in Las Vegas covers options beyond the meeting venue.

Before you go

Mistakes to avoid

1. Registration is event-specific

The hotel front desk is not your conference badge desk.

2. Keep the hotel and event separate

Room availability does not establish session assignments.

FAQ

Common planning questions

Where is conference registration?
The organizer sets the attendee check-in location. The hotel's front desk and any registration desk shown on a generic floor plan are not substitutes for the event's instructions.
Which entrance should I use?
Fontainebleau generally recommends North for hotel check-in and South for event visits. Follow any more specific direction from the organizer.
Can I work between sessions?
The venue lists a FedEx Business Center on Level 4. Confirm its current hours; public sources reviewed did not identify general coworking desks.
Will standard Wi-Fi support a presentation?
The venue describes complimentary Wi-Fi as suitable for basic browsing and email. Ask whether Encore service for higher-demand use was arranged for your event.
Can I leave luggage after checkout?
The planner guide says checked-out guests may use the Bell Desk in the main lobby. Confirm any group or event-specific storage arrangement separately.
